If anyone wants to teach muslims how to swim ask muslim family what depth can your kid swim to? How long can they hold their breath. Yes I have talked to other muslims families and they said they didnt have this problem. Instead of going around asking muslims have they had this same problem you could just talk swimming to us

With my cert, if we don’t get enough training in a month we have to do “rectification” and I think it will have all of these tests. There’s a spinal, deep water extrication, baby choking, etc

If you’re not passionate about your job, it’s gonna show up in your performance. Basically, you have to really know what you’re getting into.

the 400m is gonna kill me, i did 450 for the medallion pre test and now i have my cross pre test coming up, then my NL pre test. my stamina is not good at that length but i’ll pull through 🙏🙏

Personally my advice is to do something you know you love.

bronze medallion is 10 pound brick, 400m swim in under 12 minutes, bronze cross is 10 pound brick, 400m swim in under 12 or 10, ion remember. the brick test is really easy, but my endurance is fucking terrible. i’ve got covid and i have to do my second 400m swim next week idk how i’m gonna make it, imma try n get in the pool soon but cant till im not sick. the first time i did the 400m i was running on empty by the second lap with 6 more to go. fuckin sucked

I’m 68. I had job for many years I didn’t really like but paid well. Spent my vacation time doing things I loved. Search and rescue ( K9 handler). Adventure racing, running races. Retired now and am life guarding and teaching swimming lessons in my spare time. Volunteering three times a week teaching second graders water safety at the local YMCA. Church and god focused. No worries about money due to savings from the high paying job. So far my life has worked out pretty well….

I was i no like my lifegurd job i working together with students .Phone is much important and not watching pool. And i stressing all day. If you one day visit hungary you see that 👍🏻

Hey Adam! I notice you wear a gold chain most of the time, and I was wondering if you wear it while in the water/whelifeguarding. Do you think its fine to keep it on even when in chlorine water, or should I take it off?

Hi, I am taking my pretest tomorrow. I never had lifeguard training. I have a had a pool my whole life and I do know how to swim but I do not have any time to practice before I take my test. I am slightly out of shape but I am in soccer right now. I am not sure if I will even make it for the 150m swim. help.

yea so i took the test yesterday and failed now i have to retake the test tommorow. i know how to swim and tread water but my body has absolutely no buoyancy so i had to push as hard as i possibly could with my legs to keep my head above the water. only lasted 32 seconds after the swim 😢

I am working my way towards being a frog man in our marine corp. I can swim 1k no problem but sucked at keeping my head above the surface when treading water, and I heard they like to fuck the students up by telling them to tread water with all sorts of bs, so I am trying to get this off my list now.

ugh im debating on if I should go into tattooing(im worried ill flop) or if I should find some rebound career, I just can't think of anything id be sick of immediately

When I tried my brick test, not only was the brick not even close to where my instructed said it would be but I can’t even swim to the bottom, I get like 2 feet from the bottom of the pool and I feel like I’m going to drown ☹️

I tried to get recertified last week but I failed my written test, I got the actual stuff like being ready for the pool training and cpr ready but written test can be tricky, gonna try again in a few weeks, your video was helpful so thank you.

i take my life guarding interview tomorrow, my first one ever! i’ve been watching a lot of your videos the past couple days and im honestly scared they might ask me to do the brick, it’s the one thing i struggle most with!

A few months ago I was literally watching so many of your lifeguarding videos and now your doing college videos. Idk why but it seems weird. Kind of a random shift but love ur videos.
