Great Catch Don. I used to Catch PXPI the Pershiable to Pittsburgh-Conway Yard here in Canton ,Ohio back in 1987 with UP Power Detour due to a Derailment at Sandusky just West of NS /CR Diamond 4 Eastbound Manifest Trains had to Detour via Canton that Evening Besides PXPI, PRPI, BRPI And STPI. All 4 Trains took the Toledo Branch to hit Ridgeway then East to Gailon then to Crestline added Canton Helpers Shoving on to Conway this was for 2 days
Can't even count the number of times I've caught trains at that crossing, and had no idea there was a little brick bungalow there. Sure is odd seeing the old EL as double track too
I spent a lot of evenings visiting MS Tower in Corry. Most of the operators were pretty friendly and with the OIEL and ELOI being about the only trains through Corry on Conrail by the early and mid 80`s they weren`t awfully busy so had time to chat.
The "dude in the green shirt" is operator Thomas R. Bloom.
Another great throwback Don. Thanks for sharing this

And in 1985 too. I figured by then it would already be single.
How I miss the sound of thoes horns.
Thank you.
Me too, especially on the WLR in NE Indiana 😊
Go to work Howie!
Outstanding job
In 1985, was the PRR still part of Conrail?
1985 and already cabooseless.
Must be ELOI.
Towards the end of video that young kid runs over to the rail. He must've put a penny on rail just to see it get squished
