For those wondering this is at Sabula Tunnel, Sabula Pennsylvania. Which is a just a few miles east of DuBois. The tunnel was built in 1872 and is still used by the BPRR today.

This video is gold to me! That's my great uncle's house in the background. John Cimano. He's long since passed but the house is still there

Thank you so much for uploading these videos, I'm from Brookville, PA and have lots of Pittsburg & Shawmut footage but can't seem to ever find video of the Low Grade Secondary. Thank You for archiving this for us all to enjoy!

Great video Don! Always enjoy them! I also always try to find your spotting locations and I can't seem to find this one. Do you have a close cross roads for reference?

I was looking for it also. This was 37 years ago. There's the Wolf Run Rail Trail. It might be that. Can't find the tunnel. Noticed another track section missing.

@@brucefye3778 On google maps I searched tunnels because usually tunnels are easier to find but like you couldn't find it. Might not have a name?

Seems like back then the Engineers/Conductors were friendly and waved to you. Today they won't open their windows up to wave

Jeffrey , you are right! Today’s railroaders have Class 1 bosses that put profit over people. They treat their employees like numbers. Many ( not all) seem unhappy and even disgruntled. 😔
