I was telling your dad that no other sport can you not only see your favorite driver in the pits hanging out but you also have most drivers that work on there own cars. You dont see Lewis Hamilton changing tires between laps🤣

It’s so interesting to see how somebody reacts to a new chassis like the GR 86. Given that you’ve always driven like S 14s or more traditional cars for drifting, it’s cool to see that the chassis seems pretty parallel or similar. I’ve been drifting for about seven years now and the only vehicle that I’ve driven has been turbo caged Frs pretty grassroots, but a class at any track. And that’s all I know, so kind of as a inverse. I’ve always wondered what it would be like to hop into an S chassis or something comparable. As always thanks for the awesome content it’s cool to see the new chassis. It’s awesome to see that you’re adapting to it well and it was great to see you shred at the LZ event.
Yeah, what an experience. Right from the start its been noticeable that the GR will lock to angle QUICKER than the 240sx. But at the same time I can / need to experiment with Caster. But yeah, right out the box I would say the rear wheel drives extra similar. Very excited to keep learning this new platform.

17:00 what is that sound? I've only heard Nates 2j make this sound; it sounds like ALS but under load. It's kinda weird. It sounds like limiter but the revs are audibly lower than what the limiter is actually set at. Almost like a kind of traction control, but there's no way Nate actualy put TC in his driftcar as that would be kind of a borderline cheater move, which I wouldn't believe they did, so I can't explain that sound and I haven't yet heard it anywhere else; not under load.
you can also hear it at 17:12 that sounds really odd. especially at 17:12 as there it's pretty low in the rev range and it still does it. sounds like it's not running right. idk
Yo! So the rev limiter is set to extra "soft" right now. Meaning the way we are choosing to cut the limiter is not only early 7200 but safe and on the softer side. This is something we are learning / dialing in. We just wanted to ease our way into the 2J hahhaa Hope that helps. Definitely no traction control options etc..
How Fink didnt 0 on first lead even the commentators/judge said/seen he straightened, his wheels where dead straight! you shoulda had 3rd judging beat you not you driving, hope to see you driving on the rest of the tour
