Fabricating a Mini-GP Motorcycle Chassis

In this video I begin fabricating my own mini GP bike, it is similar to the offerings from: Ohvale, Bucci, Honda and the Kayo.
This is Part 1 of a 2 part video
The entire chassis was constructed in my garage from 19mm ERW tube over a couple of weekends with the help of one of my friends, the plan is to Install my home built 144cc V-twin motor.
Doing this will mean I have constructed both my own chassis and the engine which is no easy feat, especially considering how this was done with access to relatively modest tools and a small CNC milling machine.

Was about to comment halfway in on ideas to strengthen that shock mount but looks like a much better mount now. Would like to see how you shortened the forks, or even just an overview of what you did 🤘

Thanks, that early shock mount was a bit suspect. I’ll put something out in regards to the forks as it’ll be short and there’s not too much involved.

Some really nice work as always, it's great to see your V-Twin is going to get a good work out. Are you going to add any triangulation to the frame? Those big open rectangles look like they could introduce quite some flex.

I think I will add a couple of diagonal tubes, it can’t hurt. Hopefully the V-twin holds together, at least for a while.
