Hot take: I think the Browns got it right with Garrett over Mahomes. The Browns’ coaching staff would’ve screwed up Mahomes and he would’ve been a bust with Cleveland. Garrett is an absolute stud and at his rate of production, he should end up in the Hall of Fame.
Ya and baker is better than mahomes so that helps
@@ethan3949 I never said Baker is better than Mahomes (he’s clearly not). But I think Myles Garrett has come along as one of the best defensive players in the game that the Browns don’t get criticism for choosing him over Mahomes.
@@gatienlaurol5793 I get what you're saying mahomes was very boom or bust. If he went to the wrong situation he could have become Vince Young rather than Patrick mahomes
@@user-fc7kj2hv3w I agree with your assessment of Mahomes. I wouldn’t trust the 2017 Browns coaching staff with Hue Jackson to develop Mahomes. All the more reason why the selection of Garrett is such a solid pick for the Browns.
@@gatienlaurol5793 no baker is better he’s a top 2 qb in the league behind joe burrow
Miles Garrett doing eurosteps on offensive tackles is the most accurate way to describe his play. Just a pure beast every year.
Man the saints had a crazy draft lattimore ryanshek Ak41 trey Hendrickson Marcus Williams
jamal's impact on the jets was insane tho, just having him there made our defense a step higher
Dude you work so hard to bust out some amazing content. Thanks man!
💯
49ers really whiffed in the first round, especially given the amount of teams that got their pick right. But at least they managed to trick Chicago into thinking they actually wanted Trubisky.
Mitch could be REALLY GOOD with the Steelers. If you haven't noticed, Mahomes isn't the ae guy anymore.
*same
Hmm, how good were the later rounds in 2017?
*looks*
Oh, dang, I think the later rounds were better than round 1.
Dalvin Cook, George Kittle, Joe Mixon, JuJu Smith, Alvin Kamara, Cooper Kupp, Kareem Hunt, Kenny Golladay, Budda Baker
Yea but its bigger sample size when taking the later rounds
Deshuan Watson shouldn’t be an A+ imo due to his off-the-field antics
And due to demanding a trade after signing a massive contract that is going to do damage to Houston's cap due to his dead money
Yeah it def a+ talent wise but it should be like a C factoring everything else. You don't expect to have to trade your franchise qb 4 years in
Keep it to football ladies. What you all are commenting is nothingness. Coach(former?) Jim Bob Cooter kept an assistant job despite breaking into female(s) apartment and getting into bed with them butt naked.
It's kind of weird you didn't mention the allegations against Watson. Not to mention the fact he demanded a trade from the team that drafted him after a relatively short amount of time, especially for a quarterback. I get you're rating these guys based purely on their results on the feild, but I feel like these external factors should be considered as well. The Texans obviously got a lot back in the trade but I'm sure they would've rather not had the events of the past year and a half take place.
I mean in fairness, if a team can get a first round pick out of a player in a trade later they are considered a good player. Watson went for a kings ransom, even with all of his drama. They have him off the books now and have 3 1sts to boot.
favorite youtuber period. always brightens my day when you upload, thank you
That means a lot Graham thank you so much!
Think you were a little harsh on Trubisky. He showed that he could preform and it was simply the fact that the head coach tried to shoehorn him into something he was not. He did lead them to two playoffs in three years. He is in the top five for Bear's career stats in several areas and he though does needs some work finding receivers and seldom turns the ball over. I would have though that you could have seen through the mess the Bears have been and gone with a C to C+. Hopefully with some extra credit work the next couple years he can work his grade up.
Addicted to your content keep it up ❤️
He has more sexual assault allegations than tds in past 2 seasons a plus
Not only is that dumb to say but it's wrong
How is it wrong he hasnt played in 2 years 22 sexual assault allegations tards mcgee
This channel never lets me down
The problem with Trubisky is the Bears traded up in order to not select Deshaun Watson, it was a protective trade so no one could hop them. The FO heavily implied to the fanbase that Trubisky was a clear tier above Watson and Mahomes.
The problem is the Bears really suck historically with quarterbacks. If Watson or Mahomes went to Chicago they probably would also be with other teams by now.
How in the world do you have Deshaun Watson as an A+, dude made it to the playoffs once and now won't ever play another down with his team. I love your content but theres always one dude im just confused by
Because he was an A+ player
@@scuproductions that’s not what he’s grading though, he’s grading the draft itself
As a western Michigan alum it pains me that Corey Davis never became that break out star WR. He set all kinds of records and watching him play college ball was a treat. He had the speed, size, and natural athleticism.
Wpial gang 🤘🏻 both of the Hooker brothers cooked my school in track many times 😭
I was trying to find a video where the 2017 draft class but picks 17-32 usually because you do those first and then picks 1-16. Does such video exist? And if not, are you planning to do one?
There will be a video on those picks later this week!
he did this years class in 32-17 then 16-1 but with all of the classes before that he has done 16-1 first
Great vid. To and keep up these amazing videos my guy🐐🐐🐐
Hasaan reddick is an A in my opinion. He’s been great
Great video,liked and subbed
Barnett is why at the time we All hated Howie Rosemen. He always draft by there stats not potential
called mitchell trubisky elite
McCaffrey is A++ when he is healthy. A would be a fair grade given the injuries.
Mahomes has to be an A- after marrying Brittany
kind of ridiculous to completely gloss over deshaun's off the field stuff. I know it got "resolved" a few days ago but still.
Well what's the point of bringing it up? That he missed a year cuz of it?
@@scuproductions that he screwed the team over lmao that shit and requesting a trade immediately makes that pick an F
@@kaydebagwell3756 uh, no?
John Ross? Why did you have to bring up that erased part of my memory? So many years of pain and similarity. Well it doesn't sting as bad as it once did, because that was one of those tipping points to get Marvin out of there. Arguably he might get a bit of a higher grade for that passive benefit, because we couldn't be where we are now if it wasn't for the horrid downfalls of that regime. If they hit at all on that pick and the team did mediocre for a while longer, we wouldn't be in the position we are now. It took a lot for them to move on, even though they should have a lot sooner.
I would have to agree with Gatien down there, I think Garrett goes 10/10 times, with the first overall you don't take a developmental prospect. If they traded down was one thing. In that scenario anyone would take Garret there. Though it is hard to agree with Mahomes being ruined, it is quite possible he could have helped turn it all around. If he sat that year, he would have a chance like Baker did, but been more apt to make it work.
Nice lookback here!
Any teams who needed a QB but passed on Mahomes should automatically get an F.
Availability should play into these rankings
Man's be more underrated then Derrick Carr
Can you imagine the 49ers with Mahomes or Watson 😖
how do you talk about health factoring in and give CMC an A- then dont bring up health with mike williams and he somehow gets the same grade?
Deshaun Watson 💀
What would of happened if Buffalo didn't trade down and picked Patrick Mahomes at 10? They would not of picked Josh Allen the next year But would Mahomes been as good 🤔
You show 3 videos of a player but it's the same play. Yo!
Why would you not talk about everything Fournette has done since he’s been in Tampa? Like at all. He didn’t get the name “playoff Lenny” out of nowhere. You completely ignored the best years of his career.
Because the whole point is to grade his time with the team who drafted him
The fact that lattimore has 4 pro bowls in 5 years is absolutely crazy, most overrated corner in the league
Keep coping
@@johndeer9460 coping with what?
Deshawn Watson is no a+
They never mentioned his sexual harassment cases which reached 24 F for being a piece of shit 🤬
your background music, is so annoying i cant watch. I have clicked on 3 videos now, great ideas, but the music sounds like my phone is going off.
No. Mitch is a bust.
a probowl and playoff appearance...no bust
Every first round pick on an RB is an F
