I met my friend for a drink at his shop in Denmark Street, and instead, he suggested we cross the road to an underground bar where Elephant Tree kicked into this song right as I opened the door. It was religious.
Actually I listened with a fresh ear and I am 46 and GenX Riot Grrl Prog Rock Music Snob and I wouldn’t generalize these guys comparing them to old bands....I heard something very proggy, mathy and trippy-LOVE IT!! You sound original to me!!!
And definitely a sprinkle of Kyuss. But regardless of all the influences these guys sound like absolutely no other band, so stoked about seeing them later this month!
@@OriginalRiotGrrlNo generalization and none is taken from their genius and creative ability. Hearing familiar sounds from solid pillards that themselves were influenced by others is always a compliment. Nothing is new under the sun.
I came across Elephant Tree when I got my first tattoo. The entirety of their self titled album played in the background as the needle made its print. Now they are one of my favorite bands of all time.
Thank you for everything guys, for every single note in every song u wrote, really. Listening to this music while being in acid world is something unbelievable, u just broke my mind, i lived throgh your music, i WAS your music, and that feels beyond awesome, thank you a lot. LOVE YOU. Come to Russia some day :) P.S. Sorry for my english :)
Love this! Has a real nice sound and the sitar just makes it even more juicy, it's like Fu Manchu meets Church of the Cosmic Soul meets Ravi Shanker! Just discovered this today. Thank you for the sonic ear candy.
Haha. I take lessons from Bob Balch and learned Fracture. He has not heard of this group but say "damn, I like that. Sounds rad" next week is this song on the list to learn. I told Bob, man no one has that heavy fuzz sound like you guys but this group is right there. How awesome would it be to see them tour together?

A friend told me about you guys and now I'm obsessed, bought both your albums and I just keep having them on repeat, so good.ypu guys need to tour the US! Specifically GA haha
I wish people would stop comparing you guys to old bands I am stating this at the top of the comment thread now LOL - THIS IS SOME GREAT SHIT that doesn’t sound like other stuff. Step outside of your MindBox and listen with a FRESH EAR not a BOOMER EAR. I can say that because I am GEN X
Amazing song man....amazing! Anybody would mind passing me the lyrics...my english ear not very acurated. Grettings from Brazil! Keep up the good trips....again....amazing.
These guys would make a great tour match with Queens of The Stone Age, Royal Blood, and Mastodon. But their sound has a huge CKY, QOTSA, Mastodon, Royal Blood sound. It's great!
