Thanks a lot, Yagiz and team! Loved the video - it was super helpful. Really impressive results and the way you explained everything made it easy to understand. Also, the vibe of the presentation was great. Showing the final results with actual images instead of just numbers made it even more awesome. Great job!
Çok güzel bir çalışma olmuş. Açıklamayı da benim gibi bi lise öğrencisinin bile anlayabileceği şekilde yapmışsınız. ( Great work and simple explenation)
Incredible work, one question, the code we can run on the Colab is the same as the one on Github? Or the Github code has more options etc? (not a coder here as you can see)
Thanks for the video, it looks really interesting. Can you provide an example of an image in RGB + depth estimation for download related to your technique? thanks in advance
Hi, how do you use these in Stable Diffusion (local)? Are these suitable for rendering video DepthMaps? Or will it take for ages? I need a good Deptmap for converting 2D movies to stereoscopic 3D. I'm using Davinci Resolve Studio, which has Depth Maps, but is severly lacking in decent shape and details, resulting in some deformaties at times.
Thats really Awesome. The results look really great, Thanks a lot for sharing it. I tried the code from Git Repo on some other images and the depth maps obtained look really awesome. I had one question though, How can I get actual depth values from the depth map obtained from the model?
Unfortunately, CloudStor has been decommissioned. As of 12pm AEDT on 15 December 2023. Based on this, part of the functionality (LeReS model) stopped working. How can the code be replaced?
hello Professor Aksoy, I'm really fascinated by your great work! I'm wondering is there any website app that contains this function that can be used by ordinary people to apply this function on different fields, including artwork, games, and cartoon? Thank you so much.

For now we have our Github repository and a Google Colab notebook that you can try: github.com/compphoto/BoostingMonocularDepth/ colab.research.google.com/github/compphoto/BoostingMonocularDepth/blob/main/Boostmonoculardepth.ipynb
Great video. I wish all papers would have friendly videos like this
This is AMAZING work, congratulations! I am really excited about these results, and the possible applications they unlock!

Honestly one of the best presentations of a paper I've seen! Really like the format
Truly impressive results, and I appreciate the effort and style put into the video. Creativity in many forms!
absolutely superb explanation, papers and implementation
Very cool, is there an actual app for use? this would be a huge help in creating 3d depth maps for laser engraving.

Thank You, Do you have tuto video for installation please :) ?
Thank You very much for clear explanation. Best regards from Poland.
Impressive, I never though about using monodepth for art, so 3D paintings!!
Could I ask how this video is produced?
A year later I find your comment and am wondering the same thing. Compliments to whoever came up with this style of production!

Cool work, and incredible video! Really excited to try this out.
Great work and amazing video! Congrats!
I guess it will be super useful in projection mapping. Incredible work.

Wow much improved
Oh, we learned so much! Thanks for sharing :)))
Wow! Would have liked to see the blindsides of this approach as well.
Grate work! Congrats!

you can't get the absolute depth value from monucular depth because it only estimates relative depth.
Hello sir, i have got the results in grayscale, is it so?
Great work and explanation! thanks!

@ Hello sir, awesome work, tried working with your colab notebook, got the results in grayscale
Great idea and really nice video
Amazing work and video!
This was excellent!
This was great !! :)
Great work!
very good
is it possible to add jpeg sequence of a video and get same results without any artifacts?
it's super duper long but yes it's possible
Amazing!
is it realtime
Harikasınız! 3B nesne üzerine boyayarak derinlikli uygulamalar yapmayı denemek istiyorum.
Eğer başarabilirsem, çıktıları mutlaka sizinle paylaşırım.
4:17 Jesus! Its make me creazy! I feel that paintings is alive! wow, Could you plz scan my soul? I want to know how deep it is.
