I see you did not apply any protective foam tape, any damage when/if you remove it?
Would love to see a follow up with clean and shiny tyre walls, they do look amazing however. Great video 😁

I like the standard aero covers, and these turbine covers also look great. But a big advantage is that they cover the wheel rim so not only hide any rash but also protect against rash. Whilst it would damage these covers if they were scraped against a kerb, it's easier to replace a cover than fix a wheel.

Hi, didn't you get two left and two right rotating wheel caps? It looks like you are installing them in the wrong direction in the right side, which means that they are not aero dynamic on that side. Your AliExpress image with 4 wheel covers are also showing 4 right side rotating cover 🤔
I thought the same thing, but there are not two left or two right sides. In fact, I will double check later, but I believe my original Aero covers have that same issue. Don't yours?
Great video! How much does this effect the total distance? Surely it’s shorter than with aero?
Nothing noticable to be honest. I haven't tested it thoroughly but turbines are an option on the Model 3, and these look identical to the factory turbines
Nice Video! I know it's been a while, but how do you remove them? I'm having so much trouble just loosening 1 spoke. It's like hard stuck
No worries. Grab it firmly with both hands, don't yank but firmly pull. I would place my hands close to the middle as well, not at the edge of the rim because it's flexible and may break.

Just to let you know that the L on the box means left side of the car. This will have the covers going in the forward direction.
Are you hearing or did you hear any popping / creaking noises on turning or driving in slow speeds (under 15 mph)?

My driver front cover makes a popping and creaking sound on low speeds (under 15 mph) especially on turning the vehicle to the left, like coming out of my garage or any parking. I swapped the covers to see if one of them only had that issue but it’s happening with the 2 other covers as well. They were all very very tightly fitted in to the Aero wheel. What do you think that could be? I cannot tell where exactly on that wheel and cover is the sound coming from.

@@sanjuvarma Did your covers come with that rubber/foam strip? It is like double sided tape and goes around the metal rim, and helps protect the cover from hitting the rim.
Great video! My center cap came without Tesla logo, just blank caps, what a bummer.
I takes to the seller about it and he shipped it separate , only asked if I leave a review not to mention about it. Arrived 3 weeks later after receiving the covers

I got blank matte black caps too, but I like them more than the silver T, would get a matte background with glossy black T if they made those.
I ordered and installed these, but 2 of them keep popping out of the wheel and the 3rd one makes a load clicking noise when driving. I am returning them.

Does the Tesla logo sticker come with it ?
Yes the sticker came wtih the center cap, in fact it came with two styles. One with white logos and one with dark logos

They are limo tint and I got them done locally, yes.

They should fit as long as your wheels are 18 in. Message the seller just to be sure but my wheels should be the same yes.

What about that thin tape that came in the bag with the caps????
I found out after creating the video that it's to help protect the rims. So attach that tape to the inside of the plastic caps before snapping them into place.
the right side wheels are not correctly aligned or what 🙄 cause they are the opposite design of the left side
Looks nice. Did you get the Gun Grey option? Also on their website it says no logo. did it say same for yours when you ordered?
I purchased the matte black version. And yes it does say no logo so I was surprised to see those center caps included. In fact I have two sets of center caps, the other set is with a black Tesla logo instead of the white

Obviously ordering it from China was a bit concerning but in all honesty I found the quality and shipping time really good. And they did not pay me to say that LOL

Did you placed the foam on the inside?
I did after the video. It's not mandatory but perhaps extra caution to prevent scratches
So what's the tape they come with for?
I actually found out after, that you can stick it against the inside of the circumference of the hub cap to help prevent scratching on your steel rims.

Fortunately I did not, but after sharing the video I removed the covers and placed the tape on just to be safe

You should probably put it on behind the hubcap to help prevent any rubbing damage against the original rims. After I made the video I realized I should probably have put those on.
@@Tesla11ven I ended up just putting the tape on each of the hooks since I figured those were applying the most pressure to the wheel.

@@Tesla11ven Just don’t remove them 😭 I took one off before watching your video and realizing I needed to align the air nozzle. Then all the hooks snapped, so I bought 5 to install 4.

@tesla11ven Thank you. I’ve been so upset since I got the biggest curb rash on my wheel yesterday (2022 Model 3) and it’s the first curb rash I’ve gotten and it’s big 😩. I just have to cover it up to avoid seeing it! New sub!

When you ordered from Aliexpress, did you pay taxes/duties, im noticing it doesn't show taxes on it and doesn't mention duties with the standard Ali express shipping. (Im from Canada).

@@allansmith8643 Firm grip around one section of blade, firm pull towards you. Don't break it but definitely a firm pull to release th clips
@Tesla11ven tried didn't work it was for a model Y. It just holds the clips so tightly
