- ▶ Are you really escaping from Cross? What is the time limit for escaping from Cross? In this episode, we are enabling the leaderboard in the events the game don't want you to see it.

▶ How to reproduce? ◀
1) Download Cheat Engine: github.com/che...
2) Install it on your computer.
3) Get the Cheat Table: gist.github.co...
(Click "Raw" and save the page with .ct extension (All Files).)
4) Open the cheat table you downloaded. There's a few methods to do it:
4a) Double Click the cheat table.
4b) Click File 🔻 Load (Ctrl+O) and select the cheat table you downloaded.
4c) Click the 📂 folder icon at upper left portion of the window and select the cheat table you downloaded.
5) Toggle the script in the values section by checking the box at left.
6) Enjoy!

Interesting fact - some hidden NFS World events have 9 laps too (Pursuit Knockout leftovers).
Maybe those 9 laps events are what I assume an early technique used in NFS Carbon to allocate tutorial races although I don't have a reason for NFS World using this "technique".

Cross being referred to as DEFAULT STRING may also have to do with not being given a RacerName entry. The bosses in this game have those, but Cross doesn't since he isn't here to race you.

What happens if you complete all 9 laps in the crew tutorial laps if you don't get stuck at lap 2 forever, still activating drafter crew and without getting a message appear on the screen saying "Restarting" - The game thinks you completed the crew member tutorial and going to the pursuit prologue event to find some trouble?

The infinite tour. Dont mind that says 9 lap. After the second lap, leaderboard will stop counting laps.
But if nlgzrgn can will fix the 2nd lap stuck glitch in the wingman crew tutorial by modifying, we will see soon in next episode of "What Happens If..." series.

What if u remove neon barriers on a sprint race then skip to the finish line. What gonna happen with the percentage?
I tried this with lap races in UG2, which lets me win faster, however, I haven't tried this.
It skips numbers but you don't finish even if you cross the finish line
Since I tested this in most wanted and I'm pretty sure carbon will have some kind of the same effect:
1. You have to follow the ai's path, it's the only way of progressing of some kind.
2. Even if you DO skip, your percentage will mess up and you can't finish even if you crossed the finish line.
3. Even if you don't skip and AI went a different way from the original way and you don't follow it the main route acts as an out of bounds route in the race.
What happens If We dont escape and hanging around for the 3 minutes on escaping from the *_DEFAULT STRING?_*

I have a question:
Can the AI drivers be arrested by the police?
I have a memory of seeing this in my childhood, and I even remember how did it look:
Instead of the time in the leaderboards, like it is usually, there was just a "BUSTED!" string, and that would swap with their name, just like the AI was still racing. But maybe my mind is playing tricks on me.
Robciomixxnfs AI wasn't programed to be busted though, but I have a theory when you get too far on them they just disappear like magic. might not be true but just a guess :/
Maybe... but really, I could SWEAR I did see this happen in NFS Carbon, during a race somewhere in Kings Park when the pursuit started. The leaderboard looked something like this:
1.PLAYER
2.NEVILLE
3.BUNNY
4.HAWK
5.SNIPS
6.SPIDER
7.DISCO
8.SUKI
And then it would change to the times:

The problem is, I saw this like 9 years ago for the last time. Maybe Mandella Effect has something to do with this.

Well, I wouldn't be surprised, there were few other things I clearly remember which came out impossible.
For example, I remember that one mission in GTA 3 where you have to destroy Kuruma with either fists, or baseball bat, but the ability to damage cars without weapons was introduced in Vice City.

You need a quick patch of nfsc, you can prevent this if you apply ExOpts though ;)

In both this game and most wanted, if you find police in a race but slow down so you don’t trigger them, will the AI opponents trigger them and will the cops chase the opponents and can they be busted?

From personal experience, the cops are triggered by other drivers during races. I used to let my opponents pass me and trigger the cops when I didn't feel like evading a pursuit. I don't think that they can be busted, though.
I'm talking about Carbon. I don't remember how it was in Most Wanted, but I think that the system was similar to Carbon.

Yes, cops chase opponents. They chase whoever they see first, and police units that are after an opponent won't go after you. You have to get spotted by another unit that's doing nothing at all in order to get chased by them.
