The build is nuts but i wanted to add that The Huntress arcana is actually not really doing anything in here because it only applies to regular Attack and Special
For future reference on keepsakes btw - the way it worked in hades 1(and presumably still works in 2) is that you have substantially higher odds of encountering gods you've seen before. You might notice you only end up seeing 4 or so per run! This is likely why it seemed like your ring was still doing something after the effect expired. But it does actually expire - you are free to swap out for something better on later layers.

From my experience things seem to be pretty much the same in Hades 2, so meeting 4 different gods creates your god pool for a given run and you will only see boons from those 4. That's propably why it seems the god keepsake still works even if it doesn't.
this build can be better if you grab apollo’s dash which inflicted daze and combined with the curse from your cast for bonus 38% damage from origination
I did a similar build, but with Demeter for the knives instead. Murdered everything in the room just by spamming omega special, barely even needed to move. Even Chronos went down like a chump. Good times, would recommend =)
Yeah I have been running this build ever since unlocking aspects, really op. Never even got or went for the apollo boon and its still bonkers op. There is one hammer upgrade I think that increases the dmg of your specials whenever they hit the same target, so you really ramp up on bosses.
it’s not necessary, but hephaestus special would go crazy. idk if it stacks with exceptional talent. but 16 (maybe 32) explosions of 400 each for over 6400 damage is surely gonna be an instant phase for each boss
did something similar with aspect of melonie, hook knives and spiral knives is a *very* potent combination, and it's faster since you don't need the cast to enable it
I tried this build first couple days and even when everything goes right its hard to beat the special build with staff. I'm currently at 10:25mins chronos kill with it!
Have you seen the sister blades build where you get the two hammers that increase ur omega attack dmg in exchange for making it cost more + increasing omega attack power every time u kill something with it? It let me do 5k damage per omega attack to chronos by the end
I tried this build with aphro and couldn’t get it going as crazy as with Poseidon, who was able to get me my first sub 18-min run. Might need to try again and find that legendary though.
that's insane.. i had a similar idea with the poseidon special into the poseidon legendary. it works so well with pan because all the hammers that buff your special are good. and it's pretty easy to set up!
That’s the most OP build I’ve ever seen, the only way to make it stronger / easier to use would be to have the Hera cast that lasts triple the normal time

with 35 blades wouldn't concentrated flurry at 10:16 deal even more massive damage to bosses? for 35th consecutive shot it would be +136 flat damage for JUST the last hit..

I just got all the keepsakes last night, and as I returned from that run the boon list incantation showed up in the cauldron. So I can confirm it's linked to all the keepsakes
the fields has an NPC called Echo she duplicates the LAST item you pick up, so if i save the hammer for last and then see Echo she can give me a 2nd hammer for free
very much enjoying hades 2 i only never played the first hades because i got more into The Binding of Isaac: Repentance around the same time. Prob wont go back since that game has been done over the last 3/4 years but im sure its also a good game!
You need the Book of Shadows which you should get the incantation for earlier on after enough Hecate defeats. You navigate to the gods page and then there’s an option at the bottom to view boons.
It’s supposed to be hard starting out. That’s the nature of the genre. Then when you unlock everything the game plays itself. There’s a threshold you gotta cross.
its possible its just hard to see both in the same run, i kept getting the knives that bounce instead of the 16 knives around you for most of my runs never saw it until this one and some runs i had it but didnt get the apollo legendary
Maybe those hammers aren't compatible, i was also hoping for this combo and haven't got it so far. There were certain hammer combos in Hades 1 that were incompatible, maybe SG predicted that these 2 together would be too OP.

For my personal experience, explosion only hit once per enemy, so no 32 explosion :(

Found out last night that you can get the polymorph to hit the boss instead of repeatedly dodging it, but it doesn't turn her into a sheep q.q

I just had effectively this build. Used Echo for a third hammer and all of them were specials. Absolutely obliterated him

I tried this but couldn't get spiral knives to work. Most of the knives just wouldn't seek the enemies in my cast.
You need Aspect of Pan for it. Aspects are unlocked after you unlock all weapons and speak to Hecate for the incantation.
