Looks incredible Mike and another great use of the smoker…… I’d have cubes of potatoes in their to make it one incredible dish and serve it with Fresh Crusty Bread to dip in to that rich gravy…… Thanks again Mike these videos give you inspiration to take food to the next level.
Looks delicious Mike! I make something similar every winter but I don't know why I never considered implementing my smoker! Thanks for the tips! I enjoy making some soda bread to go with it also. It's a good bread for sopping up all that goodness!
Primitive you say lol I've made stew plenty times and served at our local monthly "DOGS" ( Dutch oven Gatherings) cooking in Camp Dutch Ovens ,using on charcoal or wood as heat source. I own a Ultima Dutch Oven, I believe made by camp chief, that has a cone inside pot that allows smoke to Inter. Great vid ,as always keep up the great work. I've tried many of what you have posted with my own twist to it.
I would like to get a few more uses out of it before recommending it. If it doesn’t crack in the next week or so I’ll let you know where I got it. Sound good?
Hi, Omar. I would like to get a few more uses out of it before recommending it. If it doesn’t crack in the next week or so I’ll let you know where I got it.
Not heavy at all. The smoke flavor is subtle… you taste everything else first and there is a little bit of smoke at the end which keeps you coming back for more.
Love it! Now that's a knife! Beautiful wok, love the smoker, all together amazing!
Another great video. Love that smoker, with a griddle over the firebox. Awesome!
What a great video and looks amazing! I am going to try thar. I will add some cut up potatoes to stew on the last hour and half in Dutch oven.

Fantastic looking stew. Gonna make it for sure this week if this snow storm doesn't dump a lot of snow on us. Your neck of the woods might get more.
Thank you, Rod! I hope the weather is kind to you and you get a chance to make this.

Where do you get the clay cooker pot
That knife is awesome! Do you have any specifics on it? I’d love to have one.
Hi, Kraig. It is a Serbian Chef knife. I love it! The one I have is The Nikos Knife.
@@WeekendWarriorBBQ thanks man…..keep coming with the great videos!
I can’t carry our wood with bare hands. Black Widow bites will sneak up since they love the wood crevices to live.
This time of the year we don’t have much to deal with other than chipmunks 🐿
Do you ever do this in a cast iron dutch oven?
Yes I do
Did it have a heavy smoke flavor?
Not heavy at all. The smoke flavor is subtle… you taste everything else first and there is a little bit of smoke at the end which keeps you coming back for more.
where can i buy the clay pot?
Absolutely No sour cream. Hence the word, Sour. 😁 And Yes, over mashed potatoes.
