  • Welcome back to Drifting South!
It's our last week in Puerto San Carlos and we are finally going to explore the mangroves and sand-spit in Magdalena Bay. Our morning started out very foggy but beautiful. With the help of the Garmin fish finder/GPS, we were able to make our way through the bay safely.
We are still new at fishing in the mangroves and we didn't have any luck this time but we are getting really good at jigging. We also spent some time on Sand Dollar beach collecting treasures.
Once we got back to the trailer I cleaned our fish and we ended our day with a nice fish and chip dinner. It was an amazing day and I hope you enjoy the adventure.
Thank you so much for watching!
    Take care until next time!
    Jenny

Hot sand, good times. It's hard to hold the selfie stick and hike in the sand. Great area to fish and just enjoy the day. Great video Jenny.

Thank you Robin! It was such an enjoyable day, that sand was so beautiful and we had so much fun jogging around in the bay. Thank you for watching!

What a lovely place. Looks like the boat and loader are working out well. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Norm! Thank you so much for watching! The boat has been so awesome to have in Baja California. We’ve gotten some amazing memories from being out on the water!

Thank you for such nice video. Really enjoyed seeing Launching and setting up the boat. It's a great set up and you don't have to compromise on the trailer comfort. Not many good options for pulling a RV and still have a good boat. You guys nailed it.

Thanks for watching and going us on our little adventure, Charlie! I’m so happy you enjoyed. You’re so right, it’s hard to find a set up to have an ocean worthy boat (weather depending) and a trailer!!

I would not go anywhere near Mexico. It’s not a safe place not even for people who live there. Three Australians that were killed in Ensenada. Baja Mexico proves that……

Unfortunately these things happen everywhere but it’s not going to stop me from traveling. Though I appreciate your concern.

Just like in any country, there are dangerous areas and safer ones, and also dangerous activities. Three Australians killed in a remote area near Ensenada proves nothing. A lot of places in the USSA are more dangerous than the baja peninsula, I don't risk going to the US, there is a high probability that the police will take you out.
