Among the things I learned was that he keeps a piece of paper in his pocket that is a record of how long since he has had a cigarette, he only flies first class internationally, and he checks eBay every single morning to see if any bootleg material of his stuff is offered and if he finds it, orders it removed.
I am ALL for a Female Trouble Musical! YEAH!!! Adore hearing John Waters...adore his films and he is such a fantastic/inspiring human being....cannot get enough

I love how John mocks the idea of "so bad they're good". I hate that term, it doesn't make sense to me. Try telling people you don't like Troll 2 "ironically"; I don't think its bad, I thinks its ridiculous and therefore amazing and i really love it, but like John says"I don't look down on it". They look at you like you got something on your face.

Doing a remake or musical adaptation doesn't ruin or even degrade the original. If anything, they make the source material shine more brightly in comparison. That said, I just avoid them as a rule, except those rare examples that add new dimensions, e.g. Fosse's Cabaret, which is a film version of a Broadway musical which is based on a Broadway play which is based on a novel.
