I have this unit and it's amazing, you can duplicate almost any pedal in the market and store it in the 96 positions memory bank with a multi options at the touch of your foot. At first I tough it was complicated but not really, it's worthy of trying, and may seems big but it's not.
hi frisell- well I'm not using any factory patch- I run the tone lab thru the fx loop of an egnater and the EJ sound is a boss SD-1 pedal. I dont care for the dist sounds in the tonelab, it's better to use a separate dist pedal and use the vox for time bases effects e.g. delat,reverb,chorus etc... thanx for wtchinh and hppy hunting
will it interface with a crate half stack? Sorry if it seems like a dumb question but I'm not familiar with the physical layer aspect of setting it up. and want to get one.
+Robert Long I'm sure it will - I only use the time based FX in the unit- the dist sound is done with a Boss sd-1, sometimes I use a fulltone ocd pedal . The vox goes into tne fx loop of a Marshall and the dist/stomp boxes are run in line - hope this helps- all in all, it's a great unit!
Hello Steve..thanks for this great video..I own a fender strat and a Pod X3 live..I would like to know if you can help me by describing the sound u use at 1.52"...this light kind of distortion or fuzz sounding !! it's just a monster!!! so any help to forge it on my pod I'll be sooo thankful..this is the sound I was looking for..thanks
+Nunya bidniss are you using any of the amp modals? if that's the case then maybe thatt's why it doesn't sound good, try with just the time based efx and use a dist/overdrive pedal in line- that may solve your problem, it is a great unit, sorry but it's sold, I now use a T.C. Nova System -not better, just smaller, and I sometimes find myself on some pretty small stages- thanx for watching
you gotta know how to use it... I've used mine live and they sound awesome.. first thing try turning off the cabinet simulator if you havent already ...

i have one and also the tonelab le and the se is a monster pedal compared to the le both are built like tanks heavy aswell but they sound awsome.

It's a Vox Tonelab SE -a giant floor ef unit that sounds great but just too big for small clubs- I've since scaled back and use 3-4 pedals

these sound great into a recorder, but my god mine sounds like dog shit thru my tube amp or live or any other way. ugh, want to sell it
