- This video shows the Unfair Magolor Soul boss battle in the True Arena in Kirby's Return to Dreamland. This is by far the hardest boss fight in the Kirby series and took me quite a while to complete.
This is a mod by SoX16 which recreates the entire final boss fight to be far more difficult. The music is a remix as well. -- gamebanana.com...

it's also funnier when they bait you out with the attacks and then teleport to perform the same attack but with you in its path

I feel like this is a more canonical portrayal of how Magolor's fight would go down if it happened in reality. Stay with me, hear me out. Because, think about it, an insane and godlike entity that is a universe-level threat that has powers like that trying to kill something that could potentially kill them? Absolutely they're going to be throwing everything they have at their opposition to try and kill it. They're not going to take their time, or have telegraphed attacks, or have attack patterns for their opponent to memorize and adapt. They have unlimited power, why hold back?
Idk just a dumb neat thought I had.
That makes sense to me. Especially with that sword attack.

And with this mod, Kumazaki was inspired to make the battle against Magolor Soul in True Arena more difficult.
While adding in Sand tornadoes and Mecha cannons.
And removing his eyes to emphasise that you’re not fighting Magolor anymore but in fact the master crown

I used Stone and whoo...finally beat it.
I like to think that when the devs at Hal Labs were finishing off the True Arena for RtDLDX, one of them came across this mod and thought "hey why don't we make this canon for the heck of it"
It's a shame they didn't add a third version of Magolor’s first phase as well.

The worst part about this is that it actually looks fun. Sadly the Ultra Sword attack probably makes it impossible to defeat without abilities.

Attacks: So hard to dodge, also does incredible damage (you get low HP already when you get hit by a supreme attack)
Music: A 2x pitch and speed remix of OVERLORD, Fatal Blooms in Moonlight and PROGRAM with some meme music elements.
Background: Outside the battlefield where Magolor and Kirby fights. In other words, further Another Dimension.

Ya know, from a purely conceptual standpoint, this is actually less rediculous than the new fight in deluxe. Because at least this one doesn't feature Super Abilities that Kirby never got to use, like it was a playground where we can make up stuff on the spot.
also the attacks in deluxe are better. sword covers entire screen etc

definitely this: this feels designed to just throw stuff at you & misdirect you & just complete overdose you in caffeine, while True Magolor Soul in DX is more fair with its tells & gives you ample time to react, while not being as overall wild or unpredictable
