I also use two rotel 980BX and an accuphase preamplifier C-250. For me enough and I love it!
Nice set-up , the Rotel amp is a beast. Are you satisfied with the preamplifier ? I'm thinking of buying one.

I am very satisfied. It really depends on the positioning, the reflex is rear.
