Great interview video and I enjoyed it and Dior Sauvage Elixir is one of my favorite fragrances of all time it's a 10 out of 10 in my opinion and have a blessed day
I've always had a few fragrances since I was in highschool, but Sauvage Elixir got me hooked on fragrances. I'd say that's when I started collecting. Great video Ash!
It’s raining today and I decided to wear Sauvage Elixir so this video is perfect timing for me. I only spray about a spray and a half of this one though. I personally don’t like to project too much.
Always great seeing Richard on the channel! And to hear his perspective on Sauvage Elixir! Love your collective work on Edgewater! And Precious Liquid has a fantastic lineup as well.
Hey Ash! Here's a little challenge for you. Mix 2ml of Creed Aventus and 1ml or Dior Sauvage Elixir in a small decant bottle. Now mix it well and smell it. Does it smell like Creed Absolu Aventus?
I did this twice, short answer is no. The SE is too powerful. Second time I did it I put a 10 to 1 ratio of Aventus to Sauvage and it still smells more like the Sauvage. I have the Absolut now, and it’s much bette than the mixture I made
I love Sauvage Elixir. Smells amazing, powerful and projects well, and lasts ages. It’s perfect. Defo worth the money. 👌🏿 I bought 3 bottles just in case Dior decides to reformulate it and water it down. 😒
@@MuzikM_85 hahaha I’m sure it is. 🤣😂 I’ve got a 100ml and two 60ml. I’m an oversprayer because my skin literally eats fragrances. Got quite a few compliments from wearing Elixir because you can actually smell it off me and it lasts. 😄
I find it very strong. Shower gel powerhouse. Very basic. Smells ok but basic. And no, a well blended fragrance doesn't mean boring man. The whole line is boring just like the Blu de Chanel line and the new Dior homme. For beginners, just for beginners.
Love the fragrance, love at first sniff when it came out. I’m not really a big fan of the others and the only one I did buy was the edt when it was first released. I still have the original bottle and it’s half full, so shows how quickly I got bored of it.
This was an awesome video. Richard is a very humble person and his thoughts were very interesting to listen to. Sauvage Elixir is niche Sauvage. Not for kids. I need to get into Precious Liquid soon.
Not gonna listen to all this but here to just say that I love it but the price per mil at retail that I got it at release and the potency of it I basically wear it once a year.
Bought the Sauvage elixir 100ml two weeks ago and performance is really not what it used to be when it was released. It is less potent and sweet. It lacks the smokiness of the initial batches. Regret buying it. How is the performance? Does it need macerating? It looks like it has been reformulated.
@@casillasangel I can confirm that after spraying on myself two full sprays it transformed and released its full potential with the smokiness and sweetness and darkness and burnt sugar notes that I felt a couple of years ago when I tested the elixir for the first time. I am in love with it the same way that love Prada L’Home Intense with its tonka bean sweetness and darkness. Thank you for your support.
I used one spray of Sauvage Elixir on my hand & upon 1st whiff it produced an instant nauseating, visceral reaction. It definitely packs a punch, but it's not pleasant to my nose. Thinking about it, I'm not a fan of the Sauvage line, or Dior fragrances, in general. The EDT is the only one I have, it's decent, but that's where I stopped. 😅
First of all i will say sorry for not watching the video. I will straight answer your question “Dior sauvage elixir- worth the money? Yes it worth every penny.
Extremely happy Richard is giving Elixir the recognition. I still remember when Elixir first released with Johnny Depp being the ambassador. I went in 💯% blind and I’ve never been happier with a scent in my entire journey. An absolutely gorgeous fougere, spicy and refreshingly sweet! It’s a wild scent.
@CSGO-cz8kb Hey, I hope you see this message. Cab you tell me when did you buy your Dior Elixir because I heard the 2024 does not perform well. I'm trying to buy it for father's day.
NO MORE THAN 2 DO NOT LISTEN TO GUY ABOVE 2 AT VERY VERY MAX 1 IS ENOUGH.. I DO 2 SPRAYS TOTAL.. 1 ON EACH SIDE OF NECK PROB NOT BEST. PROB SHOULD DO 1 ON BACK OF NECK AND ON CHEST Lol
I Got a Bottle of Salvo intense by mason Alhambra Cause I like the DNA smell of Dior Savauge EDP, And I’m Thinking of Asad ! The Savauge Elixir Clone , I have The Original Extrait From Drakar Nior , from 1982 , 1/2 Bottle I have another Old After Shave From that Time British Sterling That’s another Fresh Sweet with a Dry Down of Barber Shop Fugoré of Spices with Oils Lavender Bergamot Neroli
Worth the money ?? All you need is 1 spray and your gold for 8-12 hours The key with dior elixir is you have to spray into the palm pat hands then spread on forearms clavicles and neck then clothing or shirt / optional I know everyone says it disturbs the molecules but that is not scientific and a farce . Even Roja Dove will validate that statement. Try that and it’s a game changer. I personally can not wear the Elixer by spraying and letting it settle as it’s to dense and multiple sprays makes it far too much and I’m a typical heavy sprayer and attar collector so I have extremely powerful scents In concentrate forms
I have never gotten the hype/obsession over the Elixir. Too sharp in the opening for me, loud and not for me. Quality. Just not wearable in most places I go
I really like the opening. My problem with the fragrance comes as soon as it dries: the spices becomes unbearable, even with a single spray, and it annoys my nose while breathing. I had to skip it.
The elixir is not my thing. It smells like someone mixed Ganymede with the original Sauvage DNA and they are at war with each other instead of complimenting.
Man, Brad Pitt really is a great actor. 👏
Looks more like Colin Farrell to me.
Sauvage Elixir is my #1 fragrance in fall and winter. I ended up buying the big bottle once it came out, it's 100% worth the price tag
I think you could easily wear it in spring too tbh.
Plus the lasting power is something else.
Back up bottle worthy.
@@miguelcardenas2413not really considering 1 spray is all you need 😂
Great interview video and I enjoyed it and Dior Sauvage Elixir is one of my favorite fragrances of all time it's a 10 out of 10 in my opinion and have a blessed day
It's definitely worth the punt. I have never regretted pulling the trigger quality scent and lasts for ages unlike alot if scents in the market.
2 back up bottles I will take them to my tomb lol.

Great listening to those chats with Richard!

Sauvage Elixir is a masterpiece. Pooping on it makes us look like the craft beer guy, or Nickleback hater. Mostly jealous of success.
Or Coldplay haters. Dudes afraid to admit they enjoy something popular.
Elixir is amazing. Leaves a trail that people ask about.
I thought you were interviewing Brad Pitt for a second😂😂😂
yes, hes a dead ringer for him.
Nice to hear a professional perfumer from a different house give his opinion Dior sauvage elixir. Great content!!
Excellent video Ash and thank you Mr. Richard for giving us your perspective!!
I'm wearing the edt at work today... Can't go wrong with any of them
Depends on the job and how many sprays haha
Always great seeing Richard on the channel! And to hear his perspective on Sauvage Elixir!
Love your collective work on Edgewater! And Precious Liquid has a fantastic lineup as well.
Classic seems to be the new thing at Dior. The fragrance New Look is just a new level. Clean and crisp.
Thanks for the analysis guys. Fashion comes and goes, but classics are timeless - I think so too👍💯
And I have Afnan 9Am Dive arriving today That Should be a Nice Hybrid ,
And you don't have to sell a kidney, which is also nice.
Great video Ash! Love listening to you and Richard discuss fragrances. 🤘
Great content Ash
Wonderful chat, thank you!
Sauvage is great always get compliments from Elixir and EDP

Sauvage Elixir es uno de los mejores lanzamientos de estos últimos años y de Dior,, un perfume de diseñador premium 💯

@@Skilz111 got you. My skin is balanced, not oily or dry so with Sauvage Elixir I go with 2 sprays. That's more than enough.
Right there with you bro on the backup bottles .
Plus if I die I’m taking them with me . I already know the maggots don’t like Sauvage elixir lol.
every youtuber deservers his own perfumer!:)) anyways iam really enjoying this type of videos with Richard i wish it would be longer though! :)
Technically no perfume is worth the price at retail.
The only perfume deserves to ne called ELIXIR is savage ELIXIR😏✌️💪
love the videos with Richard! more vid like these :D
we need more videos like this👌🏼
first releases Polo Green is like Sauvage Elixir. So intense...
"People buy perfumes for performance." Why won't they make YSL La Nuit ELIXIR.
It would be a hit. Because right now it's tap water...
That and bleu de channel elixir I’m waiting for .

What a coincidence, i'm wearing elixir to work today (just 2 sprays and by the end of the day i'm still smelling it strong).

I dig these vids with Richard, looking forward to this becoming a thing!
Fragrances is subjective and fragrance price is subjective you can pay $500 to smell great or pay $10 to smell great all up to you in your preferences
This guy should name his next fragrance Envy but Gucci already had that name. He should go with Sour Grapes.
This was an awesome video. Richard is a very humble person and his thoughts were very interesting to listen to. Sauvage Elixir is niche Sauvage. Not for kids. I need to get into Precious Liquid soon.

How many sprays do you recommend with Elixir? It’s so concentrated, that I’m never sure. I tend to over spray it, and the scent is way too intense.
2-3 max, this lasts for 12+hours trust me no more
