Interesting video on farming. What would happen if you tried to harvest while it was raining, or if it rained the day before? Would the corn and other plant parts be sticking to everything and making a mess? You can only harvest when the plants are dry? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! :)
That farming equipment is amazing and that combine looks very expensive. How many planting acres do you need to justify purchasing a combine and how much is a good used combine?
Thanks, its used. 2388 caseih costs around $18,000 to $45,000 depending on condition. Farming size depends on a lot of things. You can make money on 100 acres. Or need 1,000 ac too. Depends on debt and income. Mines paid off, so i make money at 300ac. But mine is a hobby.
@@FollowingKeenan Yes, the debt to income ratio is the key to making it all work. You have to have a plan before you purchase anything otherwise your throwing your money away basically. So many people purchase a home for themselves and work the daily grind till they retire and then have to move out and into a trailer park. I see it all the time and that bothers me. Financial education is key to succeeding in life but the government school system doesn't want you to know about finances so they don't teach it.
