Why is this channel so underrated??? I mean this channel deserves effin millions of subs.. This is awesome channel.. I've been watching this since almost 4 years..
Silly question, but if the near stock bike, Z900 is not set up for road racing or hill climb, and there is next to no aftermarket parts and geometry correction support, why not choose a bike better suited and with more support for what you are doing here? Just a thought.
Because the bike shop making the bike wanted a challenge, and they race those type of custom non-race bikes in Japan at a famous race called "Taste of Tsukuba". That shop loves unique bikes and winning with this kind of challenge.
@@ZechDz Yeah, it's mostly that Blue Thunders are almost only old Kawasaki Z, just like Yasuo Arai's Z1000MKII. So I guess taking the "new" Z made it an easy choice, especially when working together with ICON.
If you want a motorcycle racer to do a real job at Pikes Peak, you need serious guys like the steel-balled British guys who race on open roads (TT Isle of Man and North West 200 in Northern Ireland): John McGuiness, Michael Dunlop, Ian Hutchinson, Steve Hislop, Bruce Anstey, Guy Martin, Dan Rutter...
Beautiful video, and that Japanese bow in the end... ace.

That was awesome, a Z900RS nonetheless. Great job Icon team.

Kawasaki Z900 RS for peak !
#AwesomeSauce
Badazz!
I just don’t get the z900rs. Want a retro Kawasaki that’s actually fast? Pick up a zrx1200 Eddie Lawson replica, and run circles around the z900
Cool but thats not a road race, its a hillclimb/time trial - have a look at the NW200, thats a road race lol.
BALLZ
