Mark, your Eurorack videos are some of my favourites (along with Ihor). I like that you often take a patch from scratch approach, explain what you're doing well, and tend to make interesting & groovy sounds from seemingly simple patches.
Genre wise, I tend towards the more rhythmic techno/acid etc, but the more ambient/drone stuff can still be interesting/insightful.
One area that I'm interested in, is how folks are approaching melodic progression, to create evolving or longer multi bar sequences.

Hi Boyd thanks so much for watching glad you enjoy the channel. Melodic progressions are something that can take a lot of thought. I use a Nerdseq for full on tunes and others use Ground Control. And for evolving polyrhythmic progressions I get a lot from from a Metropolix for example. Hope this helps.

Performance oriented melodic progressions just got a whole lot easier with a Christmas present to myself. 3 quantisers, a 4 notes chord generator, and arp all in one 42HP box. Not recommended for small setups though.

Such a cool buying experience! Thanks for sharing the good vibes and the story. I appreciate your channel as well! It’s cool to see how different people approach modular and also buying decisions as these systems of wires occupy lots of space in our brains. I also deeply love the mimeophon. It’s incredible!

Mimeophon is so easy to use and the build in filter makes it so much more that just a delay and reverb. Thanks for watching and hope to have more great stories as well as walkthrough

Keep up the drone vids. 👍🏻 I'm definitely going to try out this patch. I have the Cal Synth Typhoon. You should have a Stochastic Inspiration module. 👍🏻

The Typoon looks like a well made Clouds clone, nice! What is the Stochastic Inspiration? Not heard of that but sounds interesting

Keep going Mark, I get despondent sometimes but then watch one of your Vids and the flame burns again
As to what next demo is , what about some Generative Drones with some more Rhythmic Melody layered over drones, two birds, one Stone
You’ve not used Constellation for fair while, any reason??? Anyway diggin all this content👍🆒❄️⛄️🕸🔱🌟🌟🌟👁🎶

@@martintaylor9205 thanks Martin. Not demo’s the constellation as it’s quite big for a trigger sequencer and I like to keep the videos in a single 7u case if possible
