It was a honour working with you, hardstyle till I die! Edit: Seeing many comments about where’s this track and that. Here’s the thing. Hardstyle has been a genre of EDM for more than 21 years now. It isn’t like Big Room or Future Bass, which were formed recently. There are countless hardstyle tracks out there. Writing this Top 100 was a major pain in the ass because there are so many songs that deserve Top 100, Star Driver - 5 Centimetres Per Second, Donkey Rollers - Followers, Noisecontrollers - Marlboro Man, Hardheadz - Wreck This RMX etc. You guys have to understand that compiling a mere top 100 for such an extensive history of a genre of music is next to impossible. It saddens me when people say stuff like Hardwell - Make The World Ours should be on the list, it’s a mediocre track ffs. Hardwell is a nobody in this scene. I am sorry if you guys dislike classics, but there’s nothing I can do. The golden years of hardstyle were 2005-11, and these tracks deserve to be here.

I like the new combination of Euphoric and Raw Hardstyle really much.. artists like b-front and Phuture Noize bring me back to Hardstyle! Big props for this mix btw :)
Seeing it at #1 here and #2 on Axelade's list summarizes it (and Live the Moment) perfectly. They're both interchangeable in my book, although Tonight is much more special to me-- it was one of the first 3 hardstyle tracks I heard! Top 100 lists are always so difficult to watch for this reason... although Story Unfolds at #77 is a war crime in my book. That is a top 50 at the least.
claupas24claupas I dont really like da tweekaz either but the qlimax anthem together with hardriver and coone was pretty good last year, especially ”power of perception” and ”the elite”. But otherwise i dont like the ”Disney” vibe i get from listening to tweekaz.
Notice that the kicks in a lot of these sound very much the same, or exactly the same. But in the raw tracks the kicks are mostly diffrent to each other. And the old school tracks have more badass kicks than many of the new school tracks. In euphoric at least.
And as always with these "Top X" things on YT everybody feels like we're missing something, dont we? For me it's the lack of smaller producers that have absolutely massive tracks in their arsenal, but I understand that you have to cut it down to "only" a hundred tracks. Glad that at least MYST 'n Phuture Noize made it on to it (Phuture Noize is underrepresented but thats just my opinion and totally fair since this list covers quite a big timeframe in Hardstyle history and should supposingly feature all the legends). Seriously, if u are into Hardstyle give Digital Mindz, Mortek, Unresolved, Delete, Sephyx, Sub Zero Project, Retaliation, Requiem, The Pitcher, D-Sturb, Sound Rush, Zatox, Rebelion, NSCLT, Stereotunerz and all the others a shot they truly deserve it ;D.
I admit that some of the guys that I mentioned in the last section aren't that small. I'm not goin' to deny that but where exactly did I write that these three are underrated? Maybe it's a bit missleading with the introduction of the second section (smaller) but I just wanted to give ppl some cool arists to check out :D. Fck this arguing tho, we both love the same genre! Don’t really think Pitcher is underrated. He was the face of Fusion Records for many years. Sound Rush and SZP are pretty big as well.
