19. Niesen Treppenlauf 2022 - Highlights auf der längsten Treppe der Welt (11'674 Stufen!)!

Am 10. und 11. Juni 2022 fand der 19. Niesen-Treppenlauf statt:
- Freitag, 10. Juni: Staffellauf (zu zweit)
- Samstag, 11. Juni: Einzellauf
Gratulation an alle Läufer*innen welche die längste Treppe der Welt (11'674 Stufen!) erklommen haben.

I just rode the funicular today. I can't believe you can actually climb these stairs! The incline is so steep it gives me anxiety just thinking about it. Congrats on making it to the top. It seems like it would be incredibly scary. Are there railings/ropes to hang onto all the way to the top?

@@RX120D Thank you for your personal and kind greeting. Yes, incline is pretty steep, but I chose not to look very much up, down or to the side on the way up: I focused on the stairs and climbing, keeping going up. It is not that scary, when you just focus on the stairs. But no, there are not railings all the way up, they are there on and off, but they are there at the steepest, most open places as I remember it. 🙂
