Finally a review that’s not about YA novels. I used to love YA, but I’ve outgrown them and prefer adult fantasy series/classics and history books. Once you read YA for years they all just mesh together, and sound the same. Lately you can just pick one up, read the back of the book and you feel you’ve read this plot before. I still own some on my shelf but have moved on from it. I recently finished reading “Jane Eyre” and “mythology”,a book on Greek goods. Thank you for the video, I’ve been needing advice on new series to read. (Nothing against those that love YA books, read to your hearts content.)
I'm a big big fan of fantasy and own about 4,000 books about half of it sci-fi and fantasy/fantastic. You are the first book channel I see doing fantasy reviews that are not YA and not reviewing only pretty "light"/romance-centerd books. YA and romance-like fantasy are alright but I'm getting bored of hearing only about them. you are also the first channel I stumble into that introduces me to so much books that I've never read or never even heard of. And you're reviewing obviously high quality writing : a quick view at goodreads pro and con reviews of each confirmed that, even if tastes are highly subjective, every freakin' book that you've advised is usually recognised as solid fantasy. So THANK YOU. + From a french admirer : why do you think people in the US and UK are so into and open about fantasy but not in France ? French people's attitude towards those books are most of a "that's not grown-up reading, there are fairy tales for delusional children" line. Which is amazingly depressing.
+S. Lacoste glad that you like the channel :) thanks! There's actually a great community of Sci fi and fantasy readers and reviewers on RUclips and if you search Booktubesff you'll find many of their channels. I am sad to hear that about fantasy in France, I think it used to be that way in the US and UK but things like th LotR films and Game of Thrones TV show made it more mainstream and acceptable!
Thank you for answering and for your tips !!! I think people have a kind of elitist culture around here and are culturally adverse to non-rational fiction. I mean, all of British great writers have written their own fantasy novels : Shakespeare, Stoker, Lewis Carroll... Whereas our never do and mainly focus on existential issues, politics or social satire. Maybe escapism and fiction as metaphors are just not implemented in french culture... Thank you again :))
We seem to have similar tastes. If you like Robin Hobb ( and I do) I would recommend Guy Gavriel Kay- he is also very good at writing characters. You could start with Tigana. His first trilogy was high Fantasy like Tolkien, but after that he has done historical fantasy with incredibl;e characters.
All 3 of your Top 10 Videos are really enlightening. Thank you for the amazing recommendations, I had a lot of things that I like in common, so really looking forward to starting the series I haven't started yet.
It's saying a lot that all of booktube is hyping John Gwynne up right now and here you are in 2016 already talking about his works! (I'm also just starting his works and am reading Malice in May so I'm also late to the party haha). I just finished the second book in the Song of the Shattered Sands because of your review and I completely love the series so far!
I haven't heard of 6 of these and I'm so excited. Thank you for all the unique suggestions. So many "favorite lists" seen a bit redundant sometimes. Anyway, fist time viewer to your channel and I'm subscribed and look forward to more!!
This made me yearn for reading fantasy again. I devoured it as a teenager but more recently I haven't just because of the time commitment. I started the Farseer trilogy years and years ago, and read the first two books but didn't get around to the third. I have to sort that out in 2017 because I remember they were incredible. My favourite fantasy books are the Saratine Mosaic by Guy Gavriel Kay, which is a duology, and the Swordspoint books by Ellen Kushner. Oh and In Great Waters by Kit Whitfield, which is more like alternative history fantasy... In fact they all kind of are. I guess that says something about my taste! Off to watch your earlier videos now. 😀
Finally someone who really showed me new books! 😄 I love how you didn't name only mainstream series everyone has already read. I'm definetly going to check out your channel and previous videos ^^
It would be cool to see a top 20 of all time video in which you tell us if your newer reads have supplanted your older favorites or not. Thanks for all the great recommendations!
I have a hard time being interested in battle scenes in fantasy also. But, Miles Cameron and Steven Erikson somehow make it work for me. In the way of kings by sanderson there is a chapter called '10 heartbeats' that has a battle scene in it that was also a rare joy, but I don't think sanderson writes action scenes as consistently as that particular chapter all the time though. Thanks for sharing your favourites, gives me some new stuff to check out that I hadn't read yet.

I've also read "The Colour of Magic" and "The Blade Itself" in the past, but in both cases I wasn't interested in picking up the next book in each series. Now, I've added a lot of books in my TBR and I think I'm going to give "Mistborn", "Mage's Blood" or "Twelve Kings" a try first, as they sound amazing!
Thanks for all the recs! I've been struggling to find something that catches my interest after recently finishing the Red Rising trilogy, which I loved so much that it's given me the biggest book hangover.
I love your reviews! I'm currently reading the Malazan series and loving it. I'm definitely going to check out The Shadow of what was Lost. Sounds like my cup of tea
wow finally a list that isn't just the same books you see/hear everywhere, I had only heard of one of these series before now I have a bunch of new books to check out thank you so much.
OK, you have officially convinced me to check out Brent Weeks. As a huge Sanderson fan, it will be fun to see another author take on a similar magic system. Need to finish Malazan first though. Just got through book 5 today and book 6 is purchased!
I'm SO happy to see Gail Carriger getting some Booktube love because she is *amazing*!! These are some of my favorite books of all times but all her series are great! Have you read Prudence and Imprudence yet?! They definitely make my heart happy too! Thank you for all the great recommendations because I can always count on your amazing fantasy taste!😆
Great video!! I've added 12 kings, Smiler's fair, The red Knight and Mage's blood to my goodreads list. By your description these sound like something I'll particularly like :) I'll go watch your other recomendations videos.
I was happy to see most of my favorite fantasy series listed on this video and your previous ones (The First Law, The Kingkiller Chronicles, etc.) Here are just a few others that you might like if you haven't read them already: - The Inheritance Trilogy by NK Jemisin - A Land Fit For Heroes by Richard K. Morgan - Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
It's so difficult to decide which one is my favorite. I think my favorite fantasy book is 'The Name of the Wind' I just absolutely adored that book. But I definitely have a lot more fantasy to explore. I haven't read nearly enough I think. Thanks for all the recommendations, I'll definitely be checking them all out at some point. I'm already working on the 'Tawny Man Trilogy' and I'm about 18 % through the audio of 'Golden Fool' it's amazing, and I sometimes feel like crying when listening, but I think the book has yet to get that kick to the plot. I'll go watch your 2014 recommendations to see what else you recommend :D I'm currently binge watching your videos, they're all so great, and I think all the books you're recommending sounds fantastic. This is not good for my ever growing TBR pile, but that's life isn't it :D
I know. So many books - so little time! I'm loving the audio narration of this trilogy in particular. I didn't like the one who narrated the 'Liveship Trader' had to listen to her in 1.5 speed as she spoke super slow and monotonous.
If you're looking for something new and just barely out on the market you should check out SunRider by Rafael Hohmann. It's such a great read! Here is a link to the book. :) www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B074BPCGBF/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1501292711&sr=1-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=SunRider&dpPl=1&dpID=51QGPewxElL&ref=plSrch
All such interesting series. I've picked up a few along the way myself but of course they sit atop the TBR waiting for me to invent a longer day. Having said that one of my favorite series which I may or may not have mentioned before is the Deathstalker series by Simon R. Green. A grand space opera that doesn't disappoint. He also has a few other series out which are just as good. Definitely one of my favorite authors besides Jack London that is. Thank you for sharing all these great books with us 😸
Thank you for the introducing me to the lightbringer series. It quickly became easily one of my favorites I can't say enough how much I loved it and so sad that I have to wait a whole year for another book.
Amazing video. Trying to find a new series so this is helpful. Loved the Inheritance cycle so I'm looking for something like that. Will absolutely subscribe!
Ahh, these are all new ones. I thought maybe you were making super serious decisions about which books from the past and which ones from the present are now your top10, all around. With all the books you've read, it would be such a difficult decision. I wanted to see that drama! =) I have so many of these books unread and hope to get to them in the next few years. I need to prioritize better in 2017. Thanks Kaitlin!
I used to love fantasy but I haven't read a lot lately, but you've made me want to read so much more fantasy again! My favourite fantasy book is The Name of the Wind :)
Oh my, this is a refreshing list - pretty smart to have a number of the better-known series in the title section of this vid, then giving a list of series I'd never heard of before apart from your No.1, which I haven't read (although I have read the Liveship Traders series, my first Robin Hobb books). And this is two years ago too! Seriously have not even seen most of these in bookshops here in Australia and I do look. I've seen Brent Weeks' books and I tried Gail Carriger's first book but just couldn't get past the Victorianesque dialogue at the start, maybe it's just me (I re-bought the first book to try again, never say never). Thank you for telling us about all these.
I'm a big fan of Fantasy and I love this list, especially since I've not read any of these. And so my To Be Read list happily grows! As for my favorite Fantasy novel: The Silmarillion by J. R. R. Tolkien. I am blown away anew each time I give it a re-read.
You have great taste almost every series you list are personal favorites. Ketty Jay is so underrated, just wish they'd produce Audiobooks past book one.
#1 Drizzt do 'rden series of series (at least 6 3-4 book sub-series within the greater overall saga) set in the Forgotten realms and spans multiple centuries! #2 DragonLance Chronology by Tracy Hickman & Margaret Weis, the O.G. D&D series set in the world of Krynn with exxtra emphasis on dragons. #3 The Belgariad. 5 book series by David Eddings. The best series out in a much larger overarching saga, but is self-contained enough to read by itself and has a very original way of using magic #4 J.R.R. Tolkien, Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit, because balrogs, nuff said #5 George R.R. Martin, Game of Thrones series. Because Hodor😏 My top 5 book series and their authors, thank you for showing me so many new authors to check out!
There's some great books in this video. some i've read' some I have yet to read. But one series I think you may enjoy has to be the Quantum Gravity series by Justina Robson. Also if you enjoy Gail Carriger the "finishing school" series is great fun (Set before the protectorate). If it's fun you're looking for one of my favs has to be Jodi Taylor's "The Chronicles of St. Mary's" series .....History, time travel and lots and lots of tea :-) My Steampunk selection would have to be "The Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences " series by Pip Ballantine & Tee Morris. If vampires.ware wolves and goblins are your thing then I have to suggest "The Immortal Empire" by Kate Locke. Queen V is a vampire, set in an alternative victorian london. What more is there to say :-) A very promising first book to a series with probably one of the best opening lines to a book ever has to be "Red Sister: Book of the Ancestor, Book 1" by Mark Lawrence. and finally one of the best standalone sci-fi books that i've come across in ages has to be "Children of Time" by Adrian Tchaikovsky. That should keep you going for an hour or two :-) Great video as always.
yes, i do book depository too instead of amazon. many times i pay more but i want to buy as least as possible from amazon. i will use your link in the future.
I also think that if you WANTED to like Game of Thrones but found it to be too heavy or something, the the Moontide Quartet is definitely for you. Ooo you just help up the Ketty Jay series! I've been meaning to read it. You definitely neeeed to read his Braided Path trilogy. It starts with The Weavers of Saramyr. It's very unknown or underrated I guess cause I've never seen anyone mention it. It was very very cool.
All time favorite fantasy series: Pretty much any of the earlier Valdemar books by Mercedes Lackey...(Have not been able to get in the 'Closer' series...though planning on trying again soon.) Tamora Pierce's The Lioness Rampant quartet, The Immortals quartet...Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn (Reading #3 at the moment, liking it so far. Also love The Rithmatist.)Darker Shade of Magic trilogy by V.E. Schwab is a beautifully heartrending series...I am not really a fan of tearjerkers, but gladly make an exception for that one. Shadow and Bone was pretty good. Any of Rick Riordan's YA series are worth reading... I generally don't go much for high fantasy, though thanks to booktube my overall booklist has expanded hugely into alot more high fantasy then it had before. Jim Butcher's Cinder Spires: The Aeronaut's Windlass is absolutely terrific. I read it twice within a couple of months, and seriously thinking of rereading it again before the year is out. Butcher's Dresden Files is also terrific if you like Urban Fantasy served up with alot of grittiness, and sardonic remarks.
Love your recs, I've read half of them and I love them. I've read Farseer and Liveship, can't wait to read The Tawny Man. My favourite fantasy is Malazan Book of The Fallen by Steven Erickson.
Thanks for sharing! Recommendation : Include your list of beloved series in the description of the video. Easier to keep track of your suggestions. Cheers!
Just watched your April 2014 video and saw that you recommend the wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. I listened to them on audio instead of reading the books. They were very well read and easy to follow. Totally recommend the audiobooks as well as the series.
Kitty G YAYYY!!! I’m super excited to see what makes the list so far! Between you, Sam, and Elliot I pretty much get the best and most accurate recommendations for fantasy! :)
I am hoping to get a fair cfew of these around Christmas. Gail carriger and Bradley Beaulieu. I also own some Robin hobb, John gwynne and the shadow of what was lost. I found out about most of them from you too.
Thank you for having such a fantastic channel that isn't influenced by mainstream hype and sponsorship bias. It's absolutely intreresting to watch your content and thank you for these recs! #newsubbie :)
I love love love loveeee the faithful and the fallen series... I finished all 4 and was left feeling like what am I going to do with my life now... I also just started on the traitor son cycle and it's goooooooooood!!!!
I have to ask. I noticed my writing has improved significantly since I began reading books. I love it. I feel like I can think clearly on paper. I was wondering, Kitty G, since you are goddess in the reading community, do you find yourself writing amazingly well and fast at University? (if you are still at Uni) Like, are you one of those people that finishes before 90% of the class? just wondering
I really really want to like Robin Hobb because she has so many series and it's nice finding books set in the same world. I tried. I really did. But she just makes me scream in frustration. It's like in a horror movie when you're telling a dumb character "NOO, don't go down there!" but so much worse. I just find all of her characters make the absolute worst decisions out of some misguided nobility or from simply being naive. The Fool was pretty cool though and he was mainly what made me keep reading. Everyone else made me rip my hair out lol. I kinda wanna finish Soldiers Son but who knows if I ever will
:) Her characters DO make TERRIBLE decisions... I agree... I think I just like feeling sorry for them and being mad at them as the love I have for them is a huge payoff too :)
Kitty G that's probably because on the American audible website, the person who reads Malice, is John Keating, instead of Damian Lynch. John Keating is the one who reads soldier son as well I believe.
it was a pain going through the Farseer..i kinda liked the fool too but he did not appear that much...i don't get why people are so hyped about those books...
my favourite fantasy book ever is the Neverending story. im going to try some of your recommendations, great video. Ive read quite a few robin hobb books, currently;y half way through the 1st tawny man book
great list. thanks for not just recommending the classics that everyone has heard of like lord of the rings. I'm definitely going to check some of them out. is Brent weeks light bringer series a sequel to another series?
So many I've never heard of! I have a lot to check out now. Thanks for these recommendations! I don't know if you've read any of N. K. Jemisin's books. The world seems pretty interesting.
I loved the Farseer Trilogy. Especially Fitz' character. I was surprised that Tad Williams' Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn series wasn't included. Or, Reichart's Renshai series. What had me totally stumped was the fact that nothing by Mercedes Lackey was even mentioned.
+Frank Robins, Jr. I only read Memory, Sorrow and Thorn in 2017 and I've not read anything yet by the other two authors you mentioned. Where would you recommend starting?
Mercedes Lackey's "Last Herald-Mage" Trilogy. Magic's Pawn, Magic's Promise, & Magic's Price. Originally released in the mid to late '80's. It was the first series to have a gay protagonist. Very well written and designed. I hope you love them as much as I.
Lol. You're so right. I saw this comment before watching the video. So when the book came out I had a completely wrong image of everything she was saying😂. Like Deku was in my head every time she sau "main chatacter" and stuff like that
I am interested in so many books series that you've mentioned. 4 to be exact. reading a novel series can take so much time though and I am pretty much a novice reader so I hope I can read and finish these series. Thank u so very much!
Hey Kitty I watched this video I think two years ago and as of last night, Ive somehow managed to read every single book on the list. (Thank you for "Shadow of things to come") Anyway, here's a suggestion youve probably heard from many people (or maybe not) How about actual reviews for things you've read? I mean with "spoilers" and deeper insights from the perspective of people that have also finished reading them ala a Goodreads review vlog. I mean, I may be mistaken and you already have such a thing but I drop into your channel every once in a while to pick up some new recommends and I wish you had some videos on individual book by book sharing your thoughts and feelings on an entire book's experience Cheers from Germany
Hiya, I don't tend to do spoiler reviews but I do have a lot of reviews on my channel with deeper thoughts. Have contemplated spoilers but I think I like encouraging people to go read books rather than discussing them with only those who have already read it or don't mind spoilers. Hope you enjoyed them all :D
Just stared black prism but need to keep a list of other series (fantasy and scifi) for when I finish that series. If it is as good as Sanderson I should get done pretty quick.
I haven't any any of this series but I have read The dark tower series that is very very good as a fantasy series ans especially it is based on a fully different circumstances that others..
Wheel of time is my all time favorite series. I can’t find anything that compares. I’m going to read the Shadow of what was lost. Thanks for the recommendation. Does anyone know of any other books that are like the wheel of time?
My favorite book is the throne of glass it’s my first book that I liked so much that I read it twice I do like the series but personally this is my favorite I own about 100-300 books my friends say if I read a lot of fantasy books I have a serious problem but I see it that they want me to stop reading lol
I haven't read much fantasy books but I'd love to read more and other type books I haven't really read so great video I'll have to add some of these to my list ha ha

+Reeza Abdoola I've read them and enjoyed them. Pretty sure they're in one of my other top 10 videos :)

If you're looking for something new and just barely out on the market you should check out SunRider by Rafael Hohmann. It's such a great read! Here is a link to the book. :)

Anyone who loved The Name of the Wind deserves a like. Here, have one :)
You should read the way of kings from Brandon Sanderson. It's my fave fantasy book ever. The name of the wind is my second fave. It's so epic.
Thank you for sharing all these great books with us 😸
+Treebranch ooh I'm not sure I have heard of that author so I'll go check that series out! Thank you!!
favorite series that is finished : Wheel of Time
the series that im waiting on : Kingkiller chronicles
I know book 3, come on Mr R, I am chomping at the bit!
Thank you for the introducing me to the lightbringer series. It quickly became easily one of my favorites I can't say enough how much I loved it and so sad that I have to wait a whole year for another book.
Thank you so much for this list. I appreciate how it is full of series I have not seen on many lists!
twelve kings is amazing! i read it on my kindle earlier this year and loved it. that cover is gorgeous as well
+RhouLikestoRead so good!!
Amazing video. Trying to find a new series so this is helpful. Loved the Inheritance cycle so I'm looking for something like that. Will absolutely subscribe!
+Courtney Wilkerson thanks!!
Was hooked at the opening jingle.
Ooo I'm so happy to hear the 2nd Licanius book is coming out. I listened to the first ages ago and have been waiting forever
+Matthew Bryan I'm SOOO excited for it :)
:) Maybe I should do a 'Favourite of all-time' video...that would be super hard though!!! :S
I used to love fantasy but I haven't read a lot lately, but you've made me want to read so much more fantasy again! My favourite fantasy book is The Name of the Wind :)
+Jackie teaspoons that one is a great series :) it's my fiancé's favourite ever :)
Thanks! I hope you can get some of the others at some point :)
The best series out in a much larger overarching saga, but is self-contained enough to read by itself and has a very original way of using magic
#4 J.R.R. Tolkien, Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit, because balrogs, nuff said
#5 George R.R. Martin, Game of Thrones series. Because Hodor😏
My top 5 book series and their authors, thank you for showing me so many new authors to check out!
Mary's" series .....History, time travel and lots and lots of tea :-)
My Steampunk selection would have to be "The Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences " series by Pip Ballantine & Tee Morris.
If vampires.ware wolves and goblins are your thing then I have to suggest "The Immortal Empire" by Kate Locke. Queen V is a vampire, set in an alternative victorian london. What more is there to say :-)
A very promising first book to a series with probably one of the best opening lines to a book ever has to be "Red Sister: Book of the Ancestor, Book 1" by Mark Lawrence.
and finally one of the best standalone sci-fi books that i've come across in ages has to be "Children of Time" by Adrian Tchaikovsky.
That should keep you going for an hour or two :-)
Great video as always.
I love watching your videos! They get me so hyped for reading!!!
Thank you for a great video. I have added The Red Night and Malacie to my Goodreads TBR. I can't wait to get into these books :)
+Legendary Reads wonderful!! I hope you love both :)
This is by far one of the best book reviews. You cover a lot of material but also give a good review. Keep up the good work! (New Subscriber)
+Pungent IV thank you!!
Robin Hobb is the queen of everything fantasy :) great video!
yes, i do book depository too instead of amazon. many times i pay more but i want to buy as least as possible from amazon. i will use your link in the future.
+Matthew Bryan I do own the Braided path trilogy and plan on reading it next year :)
Ah I feel so inspired right now to read even more fantasy. Thanks girl I love your video.
This video is so good! I took so many recommendations from it and now my wishlist is even longer! 😊
+soozandherbooks I'm happy to hear that!
soozandherbooks
Thanks for sharing! Recommendation : Include your list of beloved series in the description of the video. Easier to keep track of your suggestions. Cheers!
Just watched your April 2014 video and saw that you recommend the wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. I listened to them on audio instead of reading the books. They were very well read and easy to follow. Totally recommend the audiobooks as well as the series.
There are so many fantasy series I'm yet to catch up to 😀😀😀
Will you please make a 2018 version of this? I LOVE your fantasy recommendations and can’t get enough of them!
I probably will do another soon :) about time to update it!
Kitty G YAYYY!!! I’m super excited to see what makes the list so far! Between you, Sam, and Elliot I pretty much get the best and most accurate recommendations for fantasy! :)
😉😉 thanks so much!! :) very happy to hear we help fuel the book buying and reading :)
I am hoping to get a fair cfew of these around Christmas. Gail carriger and Bradley Beaulieu. I also own some Robin hobb, John gwynne and the shadow of what was lost. I found out about most of them from you too.
+Abibliophobe27 :) those ones you listed are great so I do hope you enjoy them :)
I just stumbled upon this video and Fantasy is my favourite genre and all these sound amazing. I will definitely try them all :) thank you!
Thank you for having such a fantastic channel that isn't influenced by mainstream hype and sponsorship bias. It's absolutely intreresting to watch your content and thank you for these recs! #newsubbie :)
Great thanks!!
I love the intro and the outro..
I love love love loveeee the faithful and the fallen series... I finished all 4 and was left feeling like what am I going to do with my life now... I also just started on the traitor son cycle and it's goooooooooood!!!!
+Temitope Aregbesola YAYYYY :)
I love reading Fantasy Stories - they are my favorite Genre to Read. Thank you for this Video :)
+Linda Klinedinst :D same here!
I compare all fantasy books to wheel of time series , my absolute favorite!
Sword of truth. Come on dude give that a read
Love the Ketty Jay series! Have the Black Prism, but have yet to read it, and mus read some Hobb soon
+MrShaiya96 I'm no longer in uni but definitely I'm a fast writer (more of a fast typer now though)
My recommendation is Lukyanenko's The Night Watch series. And if you like Riyria revelations you would probably like The Dwarf series by Markus Heitz.
ah cool thanks for the video and suggestions
Kitty G D: I just started Malice and it's the same narrator as Soldier Son. I'm experiencing ptsd flashbacks haha 😫
+Matthew Bryan I didn't have the same narrator! Weird!
Enjoy!!! Hobb is for sure top of my list!
great list. thanks for not just recommending the classics that everyone has heard of like lord of the rings. I'm definitely going to check some of them out. is Brent weeks light bringer series a sequel to another series?
Great video hun been looking for a video that gives me new fantasy books to read some I've not heard of 😀😀
So many I've never heard of! I have a lot to check out now. Thanks for these recommendations!
I don't know if you've read any of N. K. Jemisin's books. The world seems pretty interesting.
+Jay Dee Archer I do really love fifth season and Obelisk Gate by her :) looking forward to seeing how that series ends!
I only just started reading her books last month. I'm looking forward to more, too.
If you ever have time read The name of the Wind (Kingkiller Cronicles)
+Chinaedu Igbokwe yes indeed :) really enjoyed that series back when I read it
I just added so many books to my tbr omgggg
Just found your channel and subscribed, thank you for this video 😀
+filipab0oks :) thanks!!
+Frank Robins, Jr. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for advising!!
The description of Shadows of What Was Lost reminds me of My Hero Academia
Lol. You're so right. I saw this comment before watching the video. So when the book came out I had a completely wrong image of everything she was saying😂. Like Deku was in my head every time she sau "main chatacter" and stuff like that
My favourite fantasy book series is The Guardian Herd! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I am interested in so many books series that you've mentioned. 4 to be exact. reading a novel series can take so much time though and I am pretty much a novice reader so I hope I can read and finish these series. Thank u so very much!
Hey Kitty
I watched this video I think two years ago and as of last night, Ive somehow managed to read every single book on the list. (Thank you for "Shadow of things to come")
Anyway, here's a suggestion youve probably heard from many people (or maybe not)
How about actual reviews for things you've read? I mean with "spoilers" and deeper insights from the perspective of people that have also finished reading them ala a Goodreads review vlog.
I mean, I may be mistaken and you already have such a thing but I drop into your channel every once in a while to pick up some new recommends and I wish you had some videos on individual book by book sharing your thoughts and feelings on an entire book's experience
Cheers from Germany
Hiya, I don't tend to do spoiler reviews but I do have a lot of reviews on my channel with deeper thoughts. Have contemplated spoilers but I think I like encouraging people to go read books rather than discussing them with only those who have already read it or don't mind spoilers.
Hope you enjoyed them all :D
I love The Tales of the Ketty Jay series. You're the first book tuber I've seen mention them :)
I have read so many book series I have to have something new thanks for recommending thes
Another great video , excellent reviews. Two pups have returned.
+farnumbp indeed they have ;) thanks!
So much books to read
david gemmell should be everybody's introduction to fantasy.
R.I.P
These all sound great! I really need to continue The Moontide Quartet, as I absolutely loved Mage's Blood.
It's so good!!!
Wheel of time is my all time favorite series. I can’t find anything that compares. I’m going to read the Shadow of what was lost. Thanks for the recommendation. Does anyone know of any other books that are like the wheel of time?
Heather Read you should read the faithful and the fallen
OMG I NEED YOUR NECKLACE! Where did you get it????
Totally read Hobbs final series first...very enjoyable still but I wish I had watched this first...
Thankyou that was a great review, so many series, wow!
That's awesome I never heard of any of those serries or authors I need to get on the ball
I love you videos. Very professional. Well done! :)
My favorite book is the throne of glass it’s my first book that I liked so much that I read it twice I do like the series but personally this is my favorite I own about 100-300 books my friends say if I read a lot of fantasy books I have a serious problem but I see it that they want me to stop reading lol
Kupkakes have you read her other series.
I haven't read much fantasy books but I'd love to read more and other type books I haven't really read so great video I'll have to add some of these to my list ha ha
I'd say my favourite books are pretty much anything written by Jim Butcher.
