Trae Young would not be a perfect fit but he will absolutely help Wemby and the Spurs a lot. They say he doesn't play defense, but last time I checked, our point guards right now -- Tre Jones and Blake Wesley -- they're not known as great defensive players either. At least in Trae Young, you can expect a contribution of 25 pts and 10 assts and a constant 3pt threat which will no doubt give Wemby more room to operate down low.
Yeah that’s my thoughts as well, he’s obviously a massive up grade, even as a underwhelming defender 25 & 10 doesn’t just grow on trees so you have to live with poor D lol, plus it helps you have Wemby and Sochan

@@MrHsktoto okc had 50 pick had a veteran to build them up and get them winning early and it made shai better. Spurs don’t have that. And Trae Young is like 25 he not old. I’d rather have them trade for a player we know is great and have that wi the wemby then gamble wemby not winning because of lack of talent and hope that these players develop or the draft some star player.

Spurs fans are like the front office.... Scared to spend money when they have really a diamond in their team allready set up to compete. They want to be in the lottery one more year.... Wemby and 2 years in the lottery is an aberration in the same sentence.... They think little : oh let's keep our draft capital 2025 draft is packed and then let's spend an other 3 years to train those draft pick. But wemby knows his body isn't stasticaly built to play 20 years...

Every player has their weaknesses, he’s a generational passer who can easily put up 25 & 10, maybe even 12 assist with Wemby… you would be dumb to pass up on that honestly lol, especially when you already have guys like Wemby and sochan defensively
