A lot worse than what? I remember super tornado outbreaks in the 1960’s and 70’s. Our earth is over 3.5 billion years old, we’ve kept weather records for LESS THAN 150 years. No one alive knows the weather cycles and patterns of this planet which could be every 500, 5,000 or 5 million years. Don’t believe the lying politicians and media who know NOTHING! No one can alter or affect weather patterns.
Yeah I don't know if it's weather manipulation, magnetic changes in the earth, or both. I do feel it's going to get even worse. This is horrible and sad.
@@TakeTheRide I know right. I’ve been struggling with the same question. I think I am going to lean a little bit more towards the need to ram the “climate change” agenda down everyone’s throat as much as possible with it being election year and 2030 just around the corner with a lot left to do
I hope everyone made it out in time. 😢 Geez. And hopefully the community can come together and rebuild even stronger from this. 🙏 ❤ Prayers to the families affected.
May God bless thewonderful people of Iowa..I lived in Iowa for few years great place beatiful people. I will pray for you..Illinois....God bless all..😊❤😊❤
While that's great to say, in many places you can't put a shelter because of the water table. BTW....tornadoes happen in every state in the country. I would rather deal with a tornado that I can see ANY day than live in a place where you don't know when & where the ground may open up under your feet...or house. Just like places that have a lot of sinkholes. Absolutely no thanks!!
@@tandiparent1906 Every natural disaster can occur in any state. But as tornados are rare on the west coast, so are earthquakes in the Midwest. Plus tornados happen every year, whereas, earthquakes happen only occasionally. I've lived my entire life in the Bay Area, am 66 years old and have experienced only a couple of dozen earthquakes. The majority being minor, with no damage, none where the ground opened up and only one where my life could've been in danger but I took appropriate cover. Btw, there is a warning system for earthquakes out here.
My dad and I call you in-axcuweather because you literally never get our forecast right. Glad(?) To know that that extends to your flipping music choices.
Instead of complaining about music, you should be praying or sending positive thoughts to the victims of the tornado. Some people will find anything to complain about. It’s like they’re wanting the attention on them not the people that really matter.
There are 2 many of you concentrating on the music isn't the picture seen so FOCUS people on another note 👁️ truly do pray that no lives wasn't lost 😇😇😇😇😇😇
Why do people live on the Coast? Or riverbanks? Or in poor neighborhoods? Or farms in T Alley that feed us ? Dunno. Maybe cuz we have families, jobs, homes there.
Most people even in Tornado Alley will never get hit by a tornado. Most tornadoes are weak and will only do minor roof damage. This was a very strong tornado that few manmade structures can stand up to.
If these posts were date stamped upon posting they would become part of our pictorial history by default. Terms such as “one day ago, last month, recently”’ aso will be meaningless much sooner than would be imagined. Date & location details be invaluable- in my humble opinion
Seeing this devastation, and I'm in awe that anyone could survive this. I'd live in an underground house made like a bunker if I had to live out there. Goodness
My heart breaks for all these people, it is such a terrible situation to have happen . Prayers for them all. ❤ I live in Florida i would rather be hit by a hurricane than a tornado, call me crazy but we have plenty of notice to go and be safe some of these people have no way of being safe, I believe the state should make insurance companies put in shelters for people who do not have one or can't afford one. Or build community ones around the cities. God bless all for comfort and peace
And much heavier and expensive. Anything made of brick, cinder blocks, concrete crumble in 185mph winds. Only correctly reinforced concrete (rebar or other tie-ins) would survive. Maybe. I lived thru Katrina and the only structures left within 2 miles of beach were bank vaults. That was surge, not tornadic winds but water and winds at that power are completely destructive....not a inch of bark left on trunks, crazy
@@maggieking6619 Caribbean people lived thru hurricane IRMA 180 mph. A monster hurricane. Many homes didn’t survive. But some did! Homes built with Cinder blocks, that were then tied in with concrete and steel. Each corner where perpendicular cinder block walls meet are then tied in with reinforced steel concrete columns. That go from foundation all the way up. And then there are homes with wood roofs with a concrete ring beam around the entire structure, and those roofs are anchored down into the ring beam with hurricane clips! Other people get a concrete roof (angled so as to be able collect rainwater into underground cisterns/reservoirs). Those structures stood up to the monster category 5 IRMA. That’s why I say concrete and steel will provide more shelter. Caribbean people have seen it and lived thru it. And in the hills of islands, the sustained winds are stronger than at sea level (the hurricane center’s estimated wind speed MPH is a “sea level” forecast). Consider that the predominant method of construction in the USA (wood studs and drywall) might be cheaper to build but not very effective in standing up to strong winds from hurricanes and tornados. Consider that there are other methods of construction that take longer but provide more shelter during extreme weather. And with climate change, extreme weather may become more common than in previous decades. Just something to consider.
I pray that God’s comfort & peace be upon those who lost their loved ones & I pray that God will restore everything that they lost. Oh God, have mercy upon them all! 🙏🏼😇❤️

Screw that! I'll take the occasional earthquake any day. It should be against the law to build houses in tornado prone areas without storm cellars.
I don’t want to be buried under a house… no matter what the reason.

So much waste of wood cutting trees less of oxygen global warming...
Wouldn't it be better to build houses with bricks n cements instead? 😮
It’s more expensive. Not everyone can afford that. And an ef-4+ tornado would still obliterate it anyways.
Tornadoes eat Bricks and concrete like I eat potato chips.
I pray Our creator to heal this land, its only Him who can do that.

My thoughts and prayers to those affected by this monster tornado. The video footage of it is insane

Why do people choose to live in tornado alley???🤷♂️
Because it’s cheap. And the odds of ever getting hit by one are very slim. Even in tornado alley.

Why do people live on the Coast?

Awful.
How are houses made of wood even allowed in tornado alley?!?
There is also brick and metal in this video.
Most people even in Tornado Alley will never get hit by a tornado. Most tornadoes are weak and will only do minor roof damage. This was a very strong tornado that few manmade structures can stand up to.
Believe it or not, tornadoes will rip apart solid brick buildings more easily than wood frame ones.

The Greenfield Tornado should be at least a low end EF5.
So sad but hard to watch because of the music. Weirdest choice for this video. Weird and annoying.
ef-4?
No sound would have been best for this tragedy.
