Thank God for TFK taking a stand for God!!!! God bless Trevor McNevan's heart. He is a man with a heart on fire for God and not ashamed to praise and worship God openly. How sweet, rare, honest, precious and awesome to be believers in Jesus Christ.
Theocracy is similar but they are only a shadow of TFK.
when I had a complicated phase in my life a few months ago, TFK helped me through. Nearly every song has motivated me to not give up on my goals in life.
For me in particular, TFK is the soundtrack of my old best friend and me as we listened to the same songs everyday, the best of it: After I introduced him to TFK he never stopped listening to them :D
He committed suicide in July 15 of this year and it was the biggest pain I had to hide in my hole life. I'm almost never sad or depressed or something like that, but when he died, my whole life fell apart in front of my eyes, I hid all my pain for months, but kept on smiling because that's what it's all about. No matter what happens you have to keep on believing and smiling. I think I'm the happiest person in the world and it doesn't matter if I have money or not, many people are starving or laying to death, they all wanna have a chance to live and it would be unthankful and disrespectful if I treated life as if it were shit.
This is my message to everybody who is going through pain right now. Forget what's going on and smile.

People are saying he's singing on a track. He's not.If you were to listen to the studio version of this song, you'd realize it's very different. If it was a track the vocals wouldn't be so loose and improvised. He just hasn't got out of breath and started sounding terrible. He just has an incredible voice, live or not.

Yeah, it's definitely not the studio audio but it super seems like he's singing on a track. Not that honestly there's anything wrong with that, musicians get sick or have days they're not up to snuff just like the rest of us (although it's kinda iffy if you're gonna record it and sell it on a DVD as a live performance, but that's kind of a matter of opinion).
The vocals are definately rerecorded afterwards, threw me off instantly, but there are many bands that do similar stuff for a live video
Like any live album, his vocal track has gone through editing, correction, polish and is likely comp'd together from several performances (they play multiple days at this venue if I recall). This is also why the lips sometimes don't sync with the audio. You may be looking at a shot from Friday night, but hearing the vocal from Saturday night.

I grew up in a charismatic evangelical church and used to listen to these guys a ton. A whole lot of fucked up things later, it was my belief in right and wrong that led me away from the church -- but I still get down with this song.

It speaks to the talent of a band when even a staunch atheist can rock out to a christian band! They don't force their religion with their music, and I can respect any band that has a rockin sound, whether they're christian or not.
