This is an amazing climb and descent!!! I rode from Esquinzo to Costa Calma where I picked up the FV-605 and rode past La Pared to Pajara, After a cafe stop I went up and down this climb, fed the chipmunks and ravens biscuits at the top and rode back to Esquinzo, it's a must do climb. Great Videos
That's a good cycle! I know some people don't like the barren scenery in Fuerteventura, but I love this particular descent. It mightn't be as spectacular as say cycling to Cofete Beach (ruclips.net/video/WN50rkQhgQ8/видео.html), but it's hard to beat for road cycling.
It probably depends on where you're starting from. I base myself in Caleta de Fuste and go from there to Antigua via the FV-413, then the steep climb to Mirador de Guise y Ayose, down to Betancuria, along the fabulous road in this video to Pájara, then back to Caleta de Fuste via Tuineje and Agua de Bueyes. It's about 80km and I prefer to do the big climb to Mirador de Guise y Ayose first, just to get it out of the way while I'm still fairly fresh. Going in this direction has the added bonus that you're riding next to the drop edge of the road and is thus a bit more exciting! Looks amazing. Which is the best way to ride this road?
