  • Hey, everyone! In this tutorial, I'll guide you through the steps of drawing an inscribed pentagon using just an unscaled ruler and a compass. Let's dive in:
    Here's what you'll need:
    - An unscaled ruler
    - A compass
    - A pencil
    Step-by-step instructions:
    1. Start by placing a point anywhere on your paper and label it as O.
    2. Use O as the center, draw a circle with any radius.
    3. Draw a line passing through O, intersecting the circle at points A and G.
    4. With A and G as centers, draw arcs with a radius greater than AO, marking two intersection points.
    5. Connect the intersection points and draw a line passing through O, intersecting the circle at points F and H.
    6. With H as the center, draw an arc with HF as the radius.
    7. Use G as the center, draw an arc with GA as the radius.
    8. Mark the intersection point of the two arcs as I.
    9. Use the compass to measure the length of OI.
    10. With A as the center and OI as the radius, mark four additional points on the circle.
    11. Label these points as B, C, D, and E.
    12. Connect points A-B, B-C, C-D, D-E, and E-A to complete the approximate inscribed pentagon.
    Please note:
This pentagon is an approximation, and according to this method, the interior angles are approximately: ∠DEA=∠EAB=∠ABC≈108.84°, ∠BCD=∠CDE≈106.74°.
There are more precise methods available, but they involve additional steps, and I'll be sharing those with you in future tutorials.
    Thanks for watching!
