Rev'it really do a superb job every time ! I have a component jacket and was going to buy an Airwave 2 to get to similar results . But now I might just get this one ! in brown,
I've made this combo with a proteus jacket and a component h2o overdose jacket. The stratum was too expansive. I was wondering if they Will make this New Tectonic but i Will keep my combo because the component Come with protection that the outer layer doesn t have. However i Will certaines buy the trousers to get the 2 layers in one piece and because i don t wear legs protection on road
Great to see Rev it come out with a full package layer jacket at a reasonable price. I'm using the offtrack 2 at moment but this could tempt me. Im puzzled though why they haven't used the zip off hood mechanism from their component jacket. Which is a classy idea.
Fantastic! I was set on a armoured mesh + something from the dirt series but I will definitely look further into this! Fantastic review as always but a quick question.. Is the connector zip on the inner, outer or both jackets?
Finally, I've been saying that Revit should have made non GTX versions of their stuff for a long time. Ever since PFAS was banned in Europe there has been NO reason to chose GTX over any other liner, they're all pretty much the same now.
A great jacket from a technical and use perspective everything I’m looking for and at a great price. Would sell loads were it not for the choice to only do two tone. A Bit like Leatts new ADV 5.5 Rally - great options crap colours - a single light colour jacket (for heat) without highlights would work with almost all bikes but they chose red accents …. Which looks shite if your bike has no red
My problem with my Stratum I already struggle with is that the mesh layer is too cool at the like "in-between" temps (~70f), but the rain layer just doesnt catch enough airflow to work well over top and things get warm. It's too bad they didn't add any of the chest vents the Component has, or a collar tab open to scoop air over the chest area. I also wish that the mesh went way further up the chest on my Stratum, and this seems just as bad? On most adv bikes the wind blast seems to hit the upper chest when seated. Sharp blue though! Do you know how much the combo weighs?
@AdventureRiderMoto hello. Do you at least know if the pants will have the same philosophy as the jacket, ventilated mesh pants for the summer and the outer layer that can be removed independently?. Thank you!
I'm compairing this to the Stratum and see some differences. However, is the fit of the pants the same? I'm thinkg about pairing this jacket with the Component 2 pants. What do you think?
I really can't get my head around the price some of these manufacturers are asking for this gear.. i could care less whether it has tbe latest fangledangle tech fabric made by nuns in the Alps ..i guess if you have a GS its another indication of superiority for everyone else to laugh at.
Looks an absolute Whipcracker! The brown colour looks sublime..

It's wonderful but annoyingly has now been pushed back until late summer - Andrew
Really like the look of this. Add a decent mid layer for really cold days and this looks like your covered for all year riding 👍
For the inner You could have mentioned, that there are pockets for the divided chest protector. It is an advantage for me.

Does the elbow armor flop around? No way to cinch it down more.

It would have been great, if you would have shown how it works with an additional thermal jacket underneath...
Hello, thanks for the video, what level of waterproofing and breathability (Schermer column) does the 3L membrane have?

Would you say there is room in between for another layer for warmth?
Absolutely! - Andrew
Please video of the pants too😄
I didn't get sent a sample so we'll have to wait until the summer to see the pants! - Andrew

This is not available on your website?
Unfortunately, it's now been delayed until later in the year! Not ideal - Andrew

Sounds like a perfect combo - Andrew

Unfortunately Revit jackets have too short arms.
