Best boats in the market and what makes it even better is proudly Canadian! Can't wait to pick up mine this week.
Have a 320 with a Yamaha 9.9 and is just perfect for 2 people
What size motor do you recommend for the pro 470?
will you be trailering the boat or inflating and deflating for each use? for trailer you can go as big as 40hp, inflate/deflate you'll likely want something more portable like a 20hp.
@@StrykerInflatableBoats I'll be trailering it around most of the time, but might inflate/deflate for an occasional spontaneous winter trip. Thanks for the advice. I'll probably go with a 30 hp to keep things somewhere in the middle
What size and model is displayed in the video; it is beautiful?
Hi Michael, it's our PRO 320 :)
is a 15hp too much power for a 320???
Hi Mike, it’s not too much power, but depending on the outboard, it could end up being a lot of weight out back.
The transom can handle it without issue😎⚓️
What's your opinion on the "Max HP" rating on the LX series? I have a LX420 with a 30HP 2-Stroke Tiller-style Evinrude motor. I"m looking at possibly repowering it in the future, and I'm trying to decide if I'm staying with a 30HP in a E-Tec or 4 Stroke, or possibly going with a 40HP, which is the maximum rating for this boat. If I repower, I will likely install a remote steering console.
Paul G. Hi Paul, a 40hp in that size boat isn’t really going to provide much performance gains, but it will heavier load to your top speed.
Is that 420 manageable for one person to set up and load into a pickup ?
@@leeyoung1367 yes and no. I can, but I'm built like a beer barrel. Boards are not bad, boat is lift-able if you wrap it up tight enough to get your hands on both sets of handles. 30hp motor is about 150lbs, so it's a bit of a heft. All of it is big and awkward. If possible, have a second set of hands or do yourself a favour and get a trailer.
@@leeyoung1367 depends on the person lol! if not a trailer like Paul suggested, at least a set of launching wheels to help you move it ⚓
