Would you say the Monta is on par with a stainless Rolex submariner? I’m in the market for a stainless watch and I’ve been irritated with Rolex not having stock and the secondary market being ridiculous. I love your show and great video content. I know these videos are a lot of work.
NO comparison.....OCEANKING all day long.....again, please check all the specs and whats underneath....Orion can't compete w/the beauty and tech inside the Monta watches. For a little over $2k, you are getting a luxury watch....can't say that w/the Orion IMHO.
@@WatchClicker Again, look at the guts of the watch. You really think Orion has a better movement inside? If yes, I beg to differ. The OCEANKING is very, very comfortable and size is a wash between the two. Svelte? Good one.....I commend you. Enough "svelte" to purchase the Orion over Monta? Don't think so:)
@@amgolfer3591 They're both using SW300s now so it is the same movement. I've reviewed and later purchased both watches so I guess that counts for something. I don't think there is a reason to get combative over it either...it's just a watch. Get the one you like
@@WatchClicker I will have to check "past" specs on that one. I have owned both (still have one and not the other, take a guess which one I kept?) and IMHO there is a difference w/quality control. Now, exactly when did I get combative? We can both look up the definition and I hardly think I was combative, Watch Clicker. Sharing my opinion, like you are, and nothing more. I appreciate the clarification on movement for both--but something isn't adding up...Nevertheless, appreciate the info. I know it's a "just" a watch, but that really isn't the point. A lot of "watch" reviewers would adamantly disagree w/you. You have a little over 2k subscribers and I suggest you don't used words like combative. We are typing my friend. Just a thought--thank you.
@@WatchClicker I'm glad you said that because I purchased one a few days after asking! I really enjoy it too, word of warning though, don't put a strong blacklight on the bezel. I've sent mine in for the bezel yellowing.
This is a great watch brand and an awesome review. I own two Oceankings and a Noble, which for my money are wonderful.
Thank you!
Is it exactly 40mm? Do you think it wears smaller or larger. I prefer a 41mm which seems. Also, does it scratch easily?
Beautifully shot, as always. 😍 I've heard so many good things about Monta.
Thank you! Definitely check one out if you get the chance!
I come back to this video every so often to remind myself how amazing it looks under macro! I'm still loving mine!
I do the same :)
Very well done. I’m trying to decide between this, the Noble and the Triumph.
The Noble would be my choice!
I have MONTA and I will recommend this watch … very comfortable watch … like Rado Oris and more luxury
Totally agree!
Great Review! I am really enjoying your videos since subscribing to your channel.
Awesome, thank you!
I think I found my next diver
🙌
Stunning watch and videography!
Many thanks!
Great review Will
Thanks Dale!

I'd so so, the quality Monta is offering is insane for their price point. It's really hard to go wrong
What would he your choice between the oceanking and the Orion Calamity?

Tough choice. The Oceanking is a little more flashy and bigger. The Calamity is definitely more svelte on the wrist.

How does this wear to the Pelagos?
Definitely smaller and a lot less thick. I love the Pelagos and while it does wear well, it is a chunk. This isn't.
Would you personally own this watch, Mr. Watch Clicker?
I do own this watch! I bought one a few weeks after this review.
