Not in the US. We don’t pronounce “sche” as “shah.” It’s just one syllable for us.
@@Encourageable it’s named after a person, so there is no alternate pronunciation. There’s only one correct way to pronounce it.
800 miles on one day is really a lot.
It hurt to do it , but had to be done also I purchased this car to enjoy it not to just be a garage ornament with 1,600 miles on it after 2 years !
@sketchup architect facts. Drive it lole you own it. Nothing worse than people who buy performance cars for them NOT perform. I pickedup my Cayman S 2 weeks ago and did 400 miles that same day.

I believe it is standard. I never noticed an option if it was lowered

Yes
porsche offers a lot of different body colors. some fancy, some expensive. but the lowly non-price premium guard's red is my favorite.
if you don't like being noticed (including being noticed by LEOs) then don't get it. you cannot be anonymous in a guard's red porsche.
BTW, ive got a guard's red 2007 2.7l cayman and having recently taken it on a 6000 mile road trip from central coast california to ohio and back, i can attest to issues WRT road noise. the ride quality OTOH was as expected for a sports car. but that road noise (not exhaust note) primarily from the tires on the road was excessive. i suspect it hasn't changed much in 14 years.
anyway... congrats on your new car. you'll love it.
I’m going on a little over a week of ownership and can confirm that you cannot be anonymous with the guards red. But I am loving the color and i’m glad it’s not the mundane white silver or black that everyone has. Not saying it doesn’t look good in those colors because those colors still look good. The red is just a little more exciting without being an extreme exotic color in my opinion. That is a long road trip you took I can imagine the road noise becoming bothersome. The 2021 718 is no different the road noise is louder than my 2013 Honda Accord. I’m looking at a Adding a Macan to be my cruiser vehicle when I want a more relaxed comfort ride with more than two passengers. And using the Cayman as the fun car lol

That is not a 2021. More like 2019 or older. Side markers are orange.
This is a 2021 model no doubt about it , got the VIN and Bill to prove it. not sure what your side marker comment is about
Orange side markers are standard on all US and Canada cars(law). Clear side markers can be purchased from Porsche dealer, easy swap.
