To make a shipping pallet out of an old coffee table, you can follow these steps:
Gather the necessary tools and materials:
Old coffee table
Pry bar or hammer
Saw (circular saw or reciprocating saw)
Measuring tape
Sandpaper or sander
Nails or screws
Drill or screwdriver
Prepare the coffee table:
Remove any hardware or attachments from the coffee table, such as legs or drawers.
Use a pry bar or hammer to carefully disassemble the coffee table. Start by removing the top surface, then separate the remaining pieces, including any supporting beams.
Measure and cut the pallet boards:
Measure and mark the coffee table pieces according to the desired dimensions of a shipping pallet. Standard shipping pallets are usually around 40 inches (102 cm) by 48 inches (122 cm), but you can adjust the dimensions based on your needs.
Use a saw to cut the coffee table pieces into individual pallet boards. You may need to trim or adjust the lengths as necessary.
Sand the pallet boards:
Smooth the edges and surfaces of the pallet boards using sandpaper or a sander. This step will help remove any roughness or splinters and create a more polished finish.
Assemble the shipping pallet:
Arrange the pallet boards in a rectangular shape, with longer boards for the sides and shorter boards for the top and bottom.
Use nails or screws to attach the boards together at their intersections. Pre-drill holes can help prevent splitting of the wood.
Ensure that the boards are securely fastened to create a stable and sturdy structure.
Optional: Reinforce the pallet (if desired):
To increase the strength of the shipping pallet, you can add additional support beams or boards underneath the top surface. Attach them securely using nails or screws.
Optional: Add pallet blocks:
If you want to lift the pallet off the ground for forklift access, you can add wooden pallet blocks to the bottom corners. These blocks will provide clearance for forklift tines. Attach them securely to the pallet structure.
Optional: Finish the pallet (if desired):
You can leave the pallet with its natural look or apply a protective finish or stain to enhance its appearance and durability. Follow the instructions on the chosen finish or stain product for proper application.
Remember to exercise caution when working with tools and always wear appropriate safety gear, such as gloves and goggles. Additionally, be aware of the condition of the coffee table and ensure the wood is suitable for repurposing into a shipping pallet.

Increíble trabajo! Pero una cosa (una boludes) las 3 madereras del medio que tiene los agujeros del palet las tendrías que haber cambiado de lugar o cambiarlas por unas que no tengas agujeros. Le cambia la estética y se ve desde lejos esos puntos negros en el centro de la mesa. Pero después lo otro es un excelente trabajo! Felicitaciones desde Buenos Aires Argentina.
