On the book thing I just want to remind people that the library is a thing. Rather than immediately putting a new book in your amazon cart, see if you can borrow it from the library first. Lots of cities you can look online, see if it’s available and put a hold on it.
yesss🙌🏻 I always check my library first cause who wouldn't want to read a book for free?? It also saves a massive load of books piling up in my house!

Got up and started cleaning after watching this for five minutes- my kitchen is clean, downstairs is dusted, bathtub has been cleaned, and I swept and mopped. Thank you for the cleansing inspiration!

Mess can definitely come to a point where it's overwhelming, and make you feel sluggish. For me, I really feel it effects my mental state. If it gets too messy around me, I get really stressed. Also, it's so nice that you show how messy your house can get, because no matter how clean and tidy you are as a person, it can happen to everyone!

Could you share your cleaning checklist with us? I so need one! Every friday I do a "cleaning day" where I wash clothes and bedding, clean the bathroom and hoover and mop everywhere but theres loads of other bits I forget to do half the time. Love your vids as always, your content is always genuinely useful x

I loved this!! Your videos inspire me to get my To-Do's done and always put me in a better mood! I also have found myself cleaning and watching your videos simultaneously lol. So one thing I can never seem to keep clean is my car! I'll clean it on a weekend and by the following weekend, or the next week, it's trashed again! I was curious if you experience the same thing! If so, maybe a video on keeping the car clean (and organized)?? Sending positive vibes

I'm always in a constant cleaning struggle(I tend to be more messy i.e. not putting things back where they belong) where I end up cleaning all in one day because I didn't do a little bit every day. I think I'm kinda done sacrificing one whole day of my weekend for just cleaning my home. This week I did 2 or 3 tasks a night and I think I might actually head into this weekend with very little to do! 🎉And I always think of Gretchen Rubin's saying Outer Order, Inner Calm. Words to live by. And i think the subject of her next book.
Also I highly recommend the podcast Forever35 - I do love a good true crime podcast but the ladies on that podcast feel like my wise older sisters. :)

I’m SO with you on the too many podcasts/self development thing! I actually banned myself from self-development books + podcasts for all of last year because it got too much. Which sounds like a long time but it felt amazing given I’d been on a self-development binge for 4 years straight.
Scrolling through and glanced at the video and for a second I thought this read orgasming my space and had to take a second look lmao was like, you go girl lol.

I use a kindle paperwhite and it doesn't have a backlit screen like ipads etc, doesn't seem to affect my sleep (I actually usually fall asleep reading on it) so it may be worth investing in one 😊
I should also mention I only have to charge it about once a month, I read nearly every night before bed, so the battery lasts ages as well

WHY DON’T YOU HAVE A KINDLE? It doesn’t use light, unless you want, you can get pretty much every book on there, and the battery lasts for days (literally). The “screen” is made up of tiny tiny balls with one white side and one black side, which turns, showing the text or image without using blue light like normal screens. And if you turn on the light, it’s normal lamp light that’s lightening up the screen.

If you like celebrities, I recommend the podcast Armchair Expert. I listen to the conversations with celebrities I like and it's cool to learn things about them that youd never know.

Buy a kindle (if you want of coruse) but I bought it last year and it's still the most amazing purchase I've made! I actually enjoy reading on Kindle more than a normal paperback because I'm a perfectionist with my books and I don't want to fold them, crack the spine, spill something on them etc. And with kindle it's easier to eat for example while you are reading bcs you don't need to hold your book open... And it doesn't distract you while you are reading bcs you can't go on internet and stuff, like with your tablet.

A kindle is better than an ipad to read on. There are many newer models that im not familiar with, but the one i have has no backlight, so its like reading paper. With constant use, like 10 hr reading a day, the battery also lasts about a week now, and ive had it since before ipads were even on the market 10+ years. I charge mine about every 2 weeks.
