I WAS a Redmi fan. Last used, or rather, still using Redmi Note 10 Pro as a spare phone. I was aiming to get the Note 13 Pro Plus but the price went up really high. I got my old 10 pro around 250 USD and now I have to pay as much as 400 USD for an unnoticeable camera upgrade with loads of bloatware and annoying ads. It was supposed to be cheap because they could get additional revenue from their ads yet, they became more greedy. Settled for the Nothing Phone 2(a) since it was really near its price point.
I use the 10 pro too! Thought I'd upgrade to the 14 pro/+ once it had been out for a while but tbh, not really seeing the appeal. No official price out yet but if 13pro/+ prices become a trend, it's not looking good for the note series. Quite disliking the curved form factor + lack of headphone jack, both downgrades from my redmi note 10 pro.
@@metalafro that costs like £100 more than what the equivalent redmi/xiaomi with a 7 series snapdragon chipset used to cost, if I'm gonna pay like £250 for snapdragon 7 then I'd just pay a little extra for a way better phone.
Where do you live? I bought my 13 Pro in May, have hyper os and security update from June I think. That's not great by any means, but definitely not as poorly as you mentioned

I have a redmi note 11 pro 5G with 15 months and it still works perfectly. I absolutely love the phone. I do have a problem with Bluetooth occasionally though which is why it got fired across the room a few months ago 😂. I spent an hour trying to get something to connect to the Bluetooth on the phone one day and I finally fired it across the room breaking the glass on the screen. The screen itself is thill perfect though. It's only the glass that is damaged. I went to get the glass repaired and they would only replace the screen and glass costing €190. So its not worth getting it repaired. I'm better off buying a new phone unfortunately because i love this phone.
I've recently got tinnitus quite bad and I've found listening to you drone on is the only thing that makes me feel slightly better about my situation. Who knew there would be something that would make me welcome tinnitus back. Thanks.

After the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, I will never buy another Redmi phone again. It got buggy after the HyperOS update. Camera sucks. There's no way to turn off the auto-softening feature of the photos. There's also a lot of bloatware that I cant uninstall.
I really thought that Redmi would upgrade the ultrawide camera to atleast 12mp, but alas, its still 8mp. I'll just go with Honor 200 Edit: Just bought the Smasnug A55 for the balance of Performance, Software Updates and the Cameras and I'm liking it so far.

Redmi surprised the Global Market with the release of Redmi Note 7. They shocked us with Redmi Note 8 Pro and they were consistent up to Redmi Note 10 Pro. They started going downhill with Redmi Note 11 series. Reasons are: 1. Prices are getting high, The specs aren't that impressive anymore, camera performance didn't improve that much, and these phones still had bloatwares.

I like Apple and Sony but damn is their greed showing a little bit with the PS5 Pro price tag and Apple's attempt at a camera button. The sad thing is, that button would've been ideal if it had touch ID and if it behaved like the Xperia camera button by default; press and hold to launch the camera, press half way to autofocus, press all the way to shoot. But no, instead it's double press to launch the camera, then let go, then hold down again and let go quickly to take a photo because if you hold it down too long it takes a video instead. And to get to the additional modes you still have to touch the screen....what's the point of using it to switch modes if to get to mode selection you have to touch the screen which already has a mode selection option on it? It's also a weirdly anti-Apple move; Apple is meant to be the company that makes products that are efficient and easy to use and yet somehow they managed to add the one button that would've made the camera easier to use and instead made it harder to use than just using the touch screen and the volume up key.
Gizmo China report, global Note 14 Pro/Pro+ will get 200MP main cameras, same as Note 13 Pro, and Poco X7 5G will be a copy of the Chinese Note 14 Pro with its 50MP camera.

I'm a redmi note 10 pro user too. So disappointed from the latest redmi note series. No sd card to be seen anywhere either.
