AI Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.
you’re right! The current market might give opportunities to maximize profit within a short term, but in order to execute such strategy , you must be a skilled practitioner
It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.
Mind if I ask you recommend this particular professional you use their service? i have quite a lot of marketing problems
Finding financial advisors like Melissa Terri Swayne who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran a Google search for her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing.
I agree that many people are considering NVDA as the "Stock of the year." However, I'm curious about which stocks could potentially become the next META in terms of growth over the next decade. I've allocated $200k for investment, looking for companies to make additions to boost performance
I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.
Many people underestimate the importance of advisors until they experience the consequences of letting their emotions drive their decisions. I recall a few summers ago, following my long and difficult divorce, I found myself in need of support to keep my business afloat. So, I conducted thorough research to find a qualified advisor, and I discovered someone with exceptional credentials. Thanks to her expertise, my financial reserves have flourished despite inflation, increasing from $275,000 to $850,000.
How can I participate in this? I sincerely aspire to establish a secure financial future and am eager to participate. Who is the driving force behind your success?.
Actually its a Lady. Yes my go to person is a ‘MICHELE KATHERINE SINGH '. So easy and compassionate Lady. You should take a look at her work.
Thank you for this amazing tip. I just looked the name up and wrote her
up, to schedule a call. many thanks
I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as ai stocks, crypto and bonds since this can protect my inherited portfolio of about $2.5m. I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the current rollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio. I’m really worried about survival after retirement.
True, I mostly just buy and hold stocks, but my portfolio has been mostly in the red for quite awhile now. Unfortunately to be able to make good gains, you’ll need to be consistent and restructure your portfolio frequently.
In my opinion, it was much easier investing back in the 60s but it’s a lot trickier now, those making consistent profit in these times are professionals reason I’ve been using an advisor for the past 5 years to consistently build my portfolio in preparations for retirement.
@@mariaguerrero08My partner’s been considering going the same route, could you share more info please on the advisor that guides you?
*Gertrude Margaret Quinto* is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
Her website appeared right away, You've saved me several hours of research, I appreciate it.
What I don’t understand is, on one hand we are told the stock market will crash and yet on the other we are told ways of investing in the stock market. Oxymoron or paradox?
People employ various tactics to capitalize on market fluctuations, whether it's experiencing an upswing or downturn.
It’s going to be a wild year for these sectors, so you should def. invest in crypto. 60% of my portfolio is spread across tech stocks, crypto and Crypto/Gold ETFs.
De-risk your portfolios, shore up your core holdings, and take some profits while balancing your portfolio allocations. I’d also suggest you go with a managed portfolio, but even those don’t perform so well, so it’s best you reach out to a proper fiduciary to guide you, that’s what works for my spouse and I. We've made over 80% capital growth minus dividends.
this is all new to me, where do I find a fiduciary, can you recommend any?
She goes by ‘Heather Ann Christensen’ I suggest you look her up. To be honest, I almost didn't buy the idea of letting someone handle growing my finance, but so glad I did
I've owned NVDA for over 8 years. It's been up and down, but I believe in Jensen Huang and will stick with NVDA until Jensen says otherwise. I know that sounds crazy, but when the financial statements/Jensen, (same to me) tell me to sell, I will. I'm sure I won't sell at the top, but that's OK.
Kept $105k in CIT Bank HYSA at 5.05% but i now plan to invest in the stock market. What are your thoughts on that? What stocks should I look out for as a newbie to safely grow my money?
Apt!! I was self-managing my portfolio but suffered heavy losses in 2022 and i knew i couldn't continue like that, so i consulted a fiduciary advisor. By restructuring and diversifying my $1.2M portfolio with dividend-paying stocks, ETFs, Mutual funds and REITs, I significantly boosted my portfolio, achieving an annualized gain of 28%.
I regret selling stocks 2021 and my strategy ever since has been pretty much buying Gold and silver to protect my wealth but if I could come up with a way to profit from this bull run, that would be brilliant. I've missed so much already.
I don't comfortably throw recommendations around on the internet, but I've been working with Camille Anne Hector. God ! she's brilliant! I'm sure there are others who are good.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up after scrolling a bit. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her. Once again many thanks.
If you are talking AI... You are missing out on Cyber Security Companies... AI will make Cyber Security an essential.

the biggest winners in ai probably don't exist yet; it'll be something incredible on the application side, something commercial and useful to the public not just companies and governments; you'll know it when you see it, and my guess is perhaps a decade away, but hopefully sooner
Thank you Mr Carlson, well presented 👍🏻👍🏻
I feel that many people looking for AI wins in stocks tend to look for absolute revenue or profit, Nvidia, Microsoft etc. But investing in stocks is about relative amount of change, even smaller more "boring" industrial companies can have great cost savings and new services that can benefit from ML and AI, be it logistics, manufacturing, marketing, sales etc.
I agree with you, valuations are already very high for the most part which means expected returns should be lower, many of these stocks already have the massive future earnings priced in. But perhaps these big growth companies could even surprise us further with higher than expected earnings seasons and/or reveal further positive forecasts
Love it!!! I agree there is a lot of things going on and many people don't know about.
thanks joseph!

Truly eye-opening. Thanks for an excellent presentation.
I was just hoping Jospeh would talk about TSM or ASML as they will be the core provider to all this AI stuff. The best tech from ASML and TSMc utilizing.
I like Pick & shovel strategy. NVDA is the clear winner. Maybe AMD too. Definitely ASML and TSM. Other way to invest in AI is thru data center REITs. They are booming but many retail investors simply ignore them. EQIX stock price increased by 33% and DLR stock price increased by almost 70% since Oct 2023. Both EQIX & DLR are the biggest 2 data center REITs. They host data centers for Amazon, Meta, Apple, AT&T, Cisco, Hershey etc.
@@kurniawanms2alternatively only a finite amount of picks and shovels are needed. And once the demand for shovels runs out, these companies will take a beating. Likely a few years out, but it looks obvious to me. It's happened to nvda multiple times thru its history already.

Those are the obvious plays, just NVDIA deriviatives.
Yeah I was buying ASML during the drawdown in September to October. It felt like a massive buying opportunity considering their own management stated a hard projection upside of 50% revenue growth in 2025 on EUV.
Amzon has its own LLMs -> The Titan models, accessible though AWS Bedrock.
Alexa is in every household? I do not know a single person who has an alexa except for my blind grandma 😅
Not every household, but last estimates are around 25% of households have Alexa in the US.
I work in people's houses (ISP) it's built into set top boxes, alot of new tablets, and just Alexa itself. It's everywhere. While purely anecdotal. Most people that i do WiFi installs for want Alexa Installed. One of the biggest issues with elderly people when they upgrade to a new router and the password changes is hooking Alexa up to the new password and ssid.
I don't have Alexa at home. I don't need to talk to Alexa to do stuff I can do myself ^^.
@JosephCarlsonAfterHours fair, it just struck me in the moment how far from my experience that seemed. I don't use Amazon so my experience is not very representative of most people, let alone the target demographic for Alexa.
@@loganlancaster4809 it's getting pumped into set top boxes and other things sold from other companies. Same with Google assistant. Also ring doorbells smart thermostats etc everything is going to be connected so you can talk to your remote / phone to control everything.
AI has incremental impact on Amazon or Netflix, but core impact on NVIDIA or AMD.. the business model of these companies is being turned upside down. For Netflix and Amazon, it is just another non-core feature that is nice to have
Once LLM chatbots add audio (verbal chat), that'll be the next level.

ASML is the best stock for all megatrends. Selling the real shovels.
ASML is probably a good purchase. I don't own it but my parents have a few shares, lol. I still prefer to own NVDA and AMD instead though as I understand the competitive space better. NVDA and AMD could also be considered as "selling the shovels" because after all the chips are what allow AI training. ASML enables NVDA/AMD, and NVDA/AMD enable the individual AI training
I’d prefer Palantir. The margins

I find it very interesting that you didn’t mention that Netflix has also begun giving every user a DIFFERENT Thumbnail based on their personal profile in order to increase the likelihood of watching the show for many people for different expectations based on a variety of thumbnails - this blew my mind when I learned that
Interesting
But he did
He did say that
Dang maybe Disney too, it's cartooning all the actors in my thumbs on Disney plus and cartoon Nicholas cage is creepy
I think the tech can be replicated by big enough competitors. Scale gives a bigger advantage for the customer data Netflix has. There wasn't much emphasis on the customer data, so I can understand mio missing the bit about tailoring thumbnails for individuals. Just my opinion, I could be wrong or missed something myself.
thanks!
I feel that this video is showing ways in which companies are improving customer experience but not necessarily showing how they will be "AI Winners". For me as an investor, I want to see directly how utilisation of these new technological tools leads to improved sales, margins and ultimately returns. Of course major companies are harnessing these technologies, it doesn't make them AI winners.
I like your thumbnail, Joseph
I would also add Salesforce !
Should look at GE healthcare Ai!
Those movie edits are mind blowing. Good chance we are indeed in the roaring 20’s. These tools are just hitting the market… coming years will be veeerrry interesting!!

The use cases are endless. They're also often pretty boring, but hugely useful.
I was talking to a guy recently that works delivering global payroll for companies. This often means keeping up to date with new legislation in 100s of countries. They're using AI to scan for updates on government websites, translating them if they're not in English, and then make recommendations on how they should change their processes, and also generating communications for their customers to update them.

AI will have huge impact to many industries. Just wait and watch.
I think a a better way to organize this video is what companies are suppliers for the AI industry, and what companies ae uses and could benefit for AI, and what companies will be negatively impacted by AI. I do not see, right now either Amazon, or Netflix as suppliers or even developers of AI tools. I do see them as being able to benefit from this technology. BTW I think you mixed some key or potentials suppliers. (AMD, INTC, and perhaps QCOM)
Nice list of stocks you mentioned. Predicting winners from losers is difficult. 25 years ago no one was sure who the biggest beneficiaries of the Internet boom would be. For example; Buffett has lamented missing Alphabet and Amazon.
@Christine_perkins13 I do not know what Tesla Innovation shares are. And when I googled it drew a blank. Perhaps you meant the Yieldmax TSLY? Or some similar covered call derivative to Tesla? If so, I strongly disagree with your strategy These things really make no sense for any one at any age. All that they do, is create income by selling covered calls, capping upside because of it. And wont protect much on share price erosion if TSLA falls.
But perhaps thee is something new? How the heck would anything related to TSLA pay a dividend now. And why would anyone in their 20s -30s- 40s want a dividend anyhonw? (They need to GROW the portfolio. Not live off income from it now.

Google is AI propaganda. 🚮
Google AI is not vaporware but they try to pretend that they are the market leader, and they very clearly are not. Microsoft is.
This 1 was a bit of a weird stretch by you, yes a lot of other companies are leveraging AI but their use case of their in house AI efforts will be much less impactful to their financials than the big AI winners. Yes, Amazon and Netflix have gen AI efforts to make their products better but it will just allow them to maintain their current lead in their current market. Many other companies are doing this as well. The difference with Nvidia and Microsoft is that they are potentially broadening their markets significantly with their gen ai efforts.
I was thinking the same thing
I'm thinking of buying Microsoft... am I too late? Would it be hard to gain big gains in the future?
> This 1 was a bit of a weird stretch by you, yes a lot of other companies are leveraging AI but their use case of their in house AI efforts will be much less impactful to their financials than the big AI winners
Really disagree with that. I think Amazon, for example, has potential to have greater impact on their financial performance from AI than Microsoft does. It's fair to disagree with this. But what you're saying here is my entire point, you've been totally convinced of the prevailing narrative that Microsoft is a "big AI winner" and Amazon is not. I don't agree with that story at all.
This is absolutely not a stretch. Amazon pumped a huge amount of money into cloud awhile back and people scoffed until Amazon has a majority of the market. I think Amazon trying to get into the game is a good thing for future Amazon holdings. Nvidia is on the forefront of the chips to help a.i, but there isn't much of a consumer a.i use yet.
@@JosephCarlsonAfterHours We all agree that NVDA is the biggest winner because we can quantify the AI impact to their revenue. We can somehow quantify AI impact for MSFT revenue by looking at Copilot revenue but we cannot quantify AI impact for their Azure data center. Same thing with AMZN with AWS or their Prime / Alexa etc. Are they winners? How do you know if you cannot quantify the impact? Yes. MSFT and AMZ stock price skyrocketed because of AI hype speculation. Too early to declare either MSFT or AMZN as AI winners as we are still in early AI stage. I do believe that Copilot and Alexa will not revolutionize the world like the internet did 25 years ago. That is not the killer app that will be used by billion of people. Both Azure & AWS have potential but they are just the backbone infrastructure for AI platform
The question is at these companies, when are they underpriced?

Joseph, AI-ify your video in Spanish, that would be awesome!
I find that in some of the foreign films shown on Netflix the captioning shown does not match the English dubbing spoken by the characters. That is annoying, especially when the other person watching the movie with me that needs the captioning does not get exactly the same translation I do. Usually I find that the spoken translation is better than the captioning. Hopefully AI can fix this problem as well, especially for the foreign films shown.
You would have to be loopy to trust an AI summary of customer reviews from a company that makes money when you buy the product.
As a 19 year old Celsius has been a big winner of mine for the last year, both as a stock and drink
I prefer to have shows in my native language because this allows me to multitask.
