Hi Jimmy, my mom has the same car with ALA30 2.2 diesel 110kw 4WD from 2010. On very long stretches (4-5hours straight in 30°c) going on holiday she had spontaneous fault codes related to dpf pressure etc. While the car acted normally for a whole year and the next holiday drive... same thing again. Since the differential pressure sensor is very close to the turbo and the engine light disappeared after fuel break(cooling down) I've put a new one in and moved the sensor about 15 cm away. The problem never came back😉 just so u know
Hi jimmy i have done few of these Toyota’s. After flushing needs catalytic record clear and then need to do dpf redueenate on scan tool 21:17 as you did in video and straight away needs to take car for 15 min drive and pm accumulation comes down very quickly
@@ORileysAutosHi Jimmy, just wandered if you've thought about using either a chest or head mounted camera like a go-pro? Just thinking may make things easier👍
I have this same engine in my auris. I take off the inlet manifold and clean it every time I change the oil. I got the car with 120k and it was blocked to death the car was breathing through a straw. Clean out your inlet manifold they get clogged with thick layers of carbon you literally have to chisel it away. It’s on 160k never had a problem never had a light on the dash doesn’t blow smoke doesn’t burn oil
I just had the same fault on my rav 4. Same engine and model as this. I also replaced the sensor since it was so erratic but it didnt change. Sprayed some dpf cleaner down the sensor pipe and now its gone for now. I still dont know why it got cloged tho. I have checked and it does regenerate by it self when it is not in limp mode.
I have a 2017 Rav 4 2L diesel, its got the bmw n47 engine with 135k on the clock, I unblocked the dpf after watching your videos, I used techstream to monitor the dpf pressure and clear the codes, works first time. Also i used wynns dpf cleaner, pumped it in with a manual pump, hopefully stays clear now
@@frankkearney7174 This is the only problem I've ever had with it since new, been serviced every 12000 miles, my old Aventis done 300000 though, so toyota wins
Just completed my experiment on a 2015 1500tdi Nissan juke , I used 8 dishwasher tablets in around a gallon of hot water thru the top oxygen sensor flushed out all the crap and then ran a 30 minute ish re-gen , 👍🤗 perfect now 🤫🤣🤣🤣
I’ve got a Nissan note with p2002 which won’t clear Pressure readings are 50mbar at 3k and 8 mbar at idle it’s been cleaned out and reset Soot content won’t budge at 30g any ideas ?
Hi Jimmy please let me know what is the best brand of OBD scanner that are able to do force DPF regeneration like toyota avensis d4d and to other car make and model. what i have is the thinktool mini that cannot do force DPF regen.
Hello which scanner should I choose for my SUZUKI SWIFT III (MZ, EZ) 1.3 DDiS (RS 413D) (75Hk) have cleaned the dpf but the service light keeps coming on and there are no fault codes. think that it is necessary to reset the soot in the dpf 😊
Hi. P2002 and engine check was on my 2.0 jtdm plus power loose etc. Shop told new dpf without event looking at car. So i discounted dpf pressure sensor, cleared faults and went for drive. Soon after driving engine check come back but this time no power loose so shortly after dpf went in regeneration and car was driving fine. So i reconnected sensor cleared faults and now she drives perfect. But what that means sensor is bad or something else? And why she went in regeneration mode after disconnecting dpf pressure sensor? Thanks
Jimmy is the king of dpf faults,no doubt about that

You're very logical in your fault finding. Great video.
Thanks!
You fid a very thorough job there mate !

Good luck with that
Jimmy should buy that Launch fluid by the tanker, instead of by the bottle.
It's a good thing you don't normally come across Toyotas on the flip side when you do come across one it's a headscratcher
Toyota vehicles are rare here in England. Hard to spot one on the road

Hi Jimmy i thought rav 4 had fifth injector like transit?
A tuff one👍🇮🇪
I have a V8 Land Cruiser only done 4000 km and the DPF pressure sensor gives that same signal.
Good to know
Same on my mom's rav4 ala30 110kw. 150k+ Car works fine. But indeed a very strange thing that I also have not seen on other cars or truck engines
How do you know which DPF pipe to spray the fluid into
Google that question and we have a video that will pop up
