They were all just so beautiful! And interesting.
I did a quick vacation in Costa Rica last month and was lucky enough to see two Firey Billed Aracari in a national park. Totally agree, when you see a toucan doesn't even seem real. And when you consider their very limited range felt very humbled. They are such exotic and different birds. What's common in parts of the world absolutely amazes us.
Nice! That was one I expected to see but never did on this trip.

This was a trip that I took with the college I go to (Nicholls State in Louisiana). It's all about taking the opportunities when they arise!

Wow! That's such an interesting head motion. Like they are verrrry carefully looking at us before deciding to get more food! I wonder if that is an adaptation to let them spot snakes or other predators while foraging? It's certainly charming looking!! They seem so cheerful and pleased with the free food, too. And those parakeets were astonishing! Noisy, too, haha - it's clear that you had a real blast doing this trip, and I'm so grateful you're sharing the highlights with us all!
How do you decide which bird to focus on? There's so many! Absolute paradise. Great video!!!
Normally whichever ones I'm most interested in! In this case, I had spotted some of the toucans the previous day and I really wanted to make a specific video on them, so I decided to make that my focus on the 2nd morning.

Toucans are very interesting tropical birds, and the keel-billed toucan is considered the most beautiful toucan.
They are definitely beautiful!
