- Booker T., Steve Cropper and Duck Dunn jam with Creedence Clearwater Revival at Cosmo's Factory in January 1970. Drummer Al Jackson Jr was absent due to illness. Next the whole band plays at the Oakland Arena the following night, with headliners Creedence in the wings. Booker T. said the band never played better than that night with CCR watching.

The guitarist, Steve "The Colonel" Cropper is a bad man; he also co-wrote Otis Redding's last hit, "Sittin on the Dock of the Bay", along with many other hits!
