I am almost 73 and I have never colored my hair. I am a natural dark brunette. Now I have noticeable gray hair and it doesn't bother me at all. I get more compliments on my hair now than I ever did. Your hair is gorgeous and I love your curls. Thank you for the product recommendations.
OMG, your hair is just ridiculously beautiful!!! You are lucky to have a lot of hair, volume, and absolutely beautiful colour. Very envious (in a nice way)
You're such a delight to watch. I was depressed yesterday about my hair, which is at about five months grey growth. But the style , texture and length is the same as yours and yours is really beautiful, so this has really encouraged me. The time involved to grow it out and the maintenance doesn't excite me but if my hair turns out just like yours, I'll be well pleased.
Wow you’re gorgeous 🌸
Your silver hair looks divine. I'm 18 months into it. Your hair is inspiring! Feels so free - I do not miss the dye 😊❤
Your hair is beautiful.
You have gorgeous hair.
Dear Claire, you look gorgeous!
And you are very intelligent and kind!
Thank you so much for sharing!

I'm so grateful you acknowledged how much money you're spending AFTER going grey. I was NEVER into products before being grey but now I feel like I waste a lot of money having to try things and it gets frustrating. Thank you!
Wow! just found you and love the colour and style of your hair, looks beautiful. About to start growing out my hair to grey.
Your hair is gorgeous and completely suits you. Thanks for posting…it was so surprising to see your video on the ‘recently uploaded’ section of my RUclips stream. I love your no-nonsense perspective.
Thank you so much 😊
Wow, your hair is stunning! You look fantastic. I really appreciate your product tips. I have a similar texture and I will look them up. I also loved what you said about thinking you’d become a sophisticated art lady but you’ve become more like your younger self. I thought I might finally become a grown up in my late 40’s when my silver hair is all grown in but I have a feeling I won’t lol. Thanks for sharing your update.
Your hair is beautiful!
You are so correct. Most of my hair is now white. I was using purple shampoo, and even had the yellowing areas professionally toned, neither of which removed the yellowing. After toning didn’t work, we realized it is from the sun since I am outdoors for about 2 hours every morning. I’m now wearing a hat when I garden, so hopefully next year the nasty yellow will have grown out!
Oh yes, the purple shampoo is pretty drying.
I am so happy to have come across your video. I have been looking for the right products for so long. Thank you for making this video!
your hair is GORGEOUS! Keep doing whatever you're doing!
Your hair looks great, just started the journey 7 weeks ago myself.
Your hair is glorious. Such a stunning colour.
You look gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your gray hair grow out.
Wow your hair is so shiny just beautiful
Your beautiful hair and honesty are so encouraging. Thank you for sharing! Love from Greece❤
Thank you and thanks so much for watching
Your hair looks fantastic. 11 months of transitioning here. No regrets. As I have my hair very wavy, the demarcation line is unnoticeable now, plus I've been cutting layers to my hair and that's how I've been getting rid of the dyed ends. I had the same problem of having my hair dyed, looking marvelous for about 3 weeks, and then, the white halo around my face. Rinse and repeat. It was annoying. Excellent tips, I wish I could use only one product to style my hair, mine is always frizzy, so I have to use a curling cream and a gel after the wash and it's like magic.
I honestly don’t miss the dye at all. My hair was wiry and dry during the grow out phase but it has definitely improved this past year. That could be down to the natural cycle of hair or maybe the products coupled with the lack of heat styling.
Hi please reply, I'm just starting let my natural gray grow, can I start using the blue shampoo like you usingnow?? . Or I have to wait until all my gray are completely done? Thanks.. I love, love your gray
Wow! I love the color of your hair; it looks healthy and shiny:)
Thank you ❤
Omg your update!!!! Your hair is absolutely gorgeous❤
The fact that your skin looks smooth and young further enhances your hair, dear.
You look AMAZING! Love your hair, the colour is stunning 😊💗
Totally amazing💕
Love your color!! Beautiful.
Love your hair!! Beautiful! Love from USA❤
Your hair looks gorgeous!
Love your hair thank you so much for this video give me an idea what to do with my hair ❤❤
You have about 4 times the hair I have! Mine is thin and straight as a stick. NO curl at all. That came in handy in the 70's when I was in high school and the style was long, straight and parted down the middle. I don't think flat irons even existed back then! I quit dying my hair about 16 years ago. I have never looked back. Mine is more white than silver. I also use a purple shampoo & conditioner about once a week and wash every other day. I don't think we have Bumble and Bumble here in the US. I keep it in a short bob as it is too thin and I am too old for long hair (in my opinion! I am 66).
Your hair sounds stunning . Finer hair always looks great in a bob .
beautiful color of hair
You have amazing hair! I’m one year in and was hoping for more silver but the more videos I watch I’m loving salt and pepper which is what I have as well. I think it’s so cool how everyone has different patterns, but, salt and pepper is so interesting because of the different effects light has on salt and pepper hair. It seems to constantly be changing color, especially on healthy shiny hair. Longer, like yours seems to accentuate this chameleon like color, it’s just fabulous! No dye can compare.
Looks so shiny and I like the pinks too. I’m a bright winter so silver goes. I’m very grey/ silver stopped dying with dark colours 2 years ago I think. I did go for blonde inbetween but now I have lots of inches of grey and have to make a decision! You look very young and the silver hair looks young too
Welcome back! I was going to color after 4 months but after seeing your lovely hair I want that!
Yes that was a tricky stage for me too 😀 but I think you don’t get a good idea of your colour and pattern until at least 5 months . keep going
Very natural and beautiful ❤️
Your hair is beautiful!
I really love your hair color! I’m almost a year into my transition now and have some old color on the ends . It looks different depending on the lighting.
Very pretty color. I’m 9 months in and like you, I just let it go and not worried on how it looks.
Your hair is gorgeous 😍 I'm just starting my journey 😊 mine is snow white 😂
Wow! Your hair is stunningly Beauuuuutiful & Gorgeous. I ditched the dye by force during COVID as once the lockdown went into effect I was unable to get to my Stylist. Prior though I was getting my gray roots (new growth) every 3-4 weeks or whenever I saw a few strands of gray. The weirdest thing happened 6 months in (no dye) my hair and scalp went through detoxing symptoms like a junkie jonesing for a fix. With excessive itching, tender spots, and soreness. On top of that, I became extremely thirsty for tons of water I already drank a lot of. It made me wonder what the heck is in the dye to cause these issues. So after the dust settled I never looked back. There’s a newfound freedom and liberation that came with my decision and my only regret was that I didn't ditch the dye sooner. Anyway, Ty for sharing your routine and products. I have yet to find a GH friendly salon and see a need to take matters into my own hands until I do. You are sooo right the maintenance & upkeep is a different animal and require a different regimen. Btw, you have a beautiful accent & speaking voice, Stay Blessed!👍🏾😉🙏🏽💕
Gorgeous!
Lovely ❤. I am about 10 months in but have shorter hair so by the end of the year, dye should be all grown out. For those wanting to try, you can't judge your hair in the first few months. You have to wait. Also, I agree it requires some thought on products and maintenace. I have had to rethink my cut, styling method, products, etc. Above that though, the first change is a shift in perspective!
Your hair is a beautiful silvery gray and looks like it’s in great condition. You are so right about the fact that it takes more care, time & money on good quality products. My stylist recommended I buy a filter for my shower head and this helps quite a bit because hard water can be damaging to gray hair. It makes my hair feel much softer and helps prevent yellowing. I also use purple shampoo every 3 times I wash it. At the beginning I would use a hair masque & leave it in for about 10 minutes before rinsing and this helped my hair too. Gray hair is very dry if you don’t use good products to care for it. I’m saying these things to reinforce exactly what you state in your video. If you see people with dry, gray flyaway hair, it’s because they are not caring for it properly. Your hair is absolutely stunning. But you also have a beautiful face to match.
Great video! I’m on my 3rd attempt at growing out. Third times the charm🤞🏻
Oh LORD. 14 X for me 😂 true
Gorgeous!!! 😍
"Mother nature's natural highlights," imo
I stopped coloring my hair at the end of 2017.
My hair is nearly all white (close to platinum /silver tone)
No regrets on my decision...full on embracing my natural color.
Beautiful x
Your hair rocks!!! The fact that you have a beautiful face, great skin and you are in great shape physically also contribute to your totally cool look. Please don’t go beige - you are too vibrant a woman! Thanks for the great product advice. 😁😁😁❤️
My hair is like yours, still quite dark underneath. So can I sort of see what mine would look like now, although I have a chin length wavy bob.
Your hair and make up look great 💗
Hey, I was already wondering wehre yoúve been ;) you Look amazing and your hair is soooo stunning!!! The Color and the Shaggy look…really cool! :D
My hair is so think I thought the layers would help to give it some sort of shape .
I'm finding that Mother Nature knows best and the dyes I used made me look older. I think if you take care of your skin and body and dress modern, you will not look old.
Gorgeous thank you❤
I do heatless curls w silk at night. NEVER would have slept in hair wrap w dyed hair-but now I need to, to get smooth pretty hair
Gorgeous 😍
Im 57 I begin al 37 still black on my neck part. I just love it but its really hard to care for it, bc I live in a hot humid environment. But I wont go back to dye it. You look gourgeous
Your hair looks amazing! I see you have wavy hair, do you do any wavy hair management as part of your wash routine?
So great to see you back 😊
Love your videos, your hair is looking lovely.
Thank you!! 😊 Thank you for watching .
Like from Ukraine 💖💖👍👍
Your hair is a wonderful silver color. I wonder, are those products you use found here in the US?
You have a beautiful head of silver hair. I tried dying my hair once. Never did it again. I get so many compliments about my silver and pepper hair. I wear it long. Wash about every 10 days. Keeps my natural oils to shine my hair. I love my “grey”.
love this ❤. I’d been dying for decades .
you look beautiful 😀
Pretty arms too!
Your hair is goegous
❤🌺🌺
Hi Clare, love your hair and enjoy your videos. Just wondering where you got your hair cut?
I go to Chair in Cork City.
Thank you!
Wish you showed how short your hair was four years ago. I want to grow mine out but hate how it grows out.
Can you list all the products you use
I am 9 months into it- loving the heck out of this silver hair! Do you think your hair texture changed over the past 3 yrs? It looks a bit curly and before maybe was straighter? I was looking at the length you had before, closer to where I am, just shoulder length now. I have to say the grow out process has been weird! At first my hair grew in crazy and coarse like, had to keep layering it. It has softened up a lot. I look forward to getting to your lovely length.
I was the very same, the texture of the grey was coarse and wordy almost but it has definitely softened in the past year. The curl is from the layers I have, plus I don’t heat style nearly as much as I used to.
@@ClaireLoy Ok- good to know! If I had not have had to keep trimming and shaping my hair as it grew out, it would be so much longer by now. I might share the grow out on my channel when I get to one year just to see how it is turning out. My goal is to get it so I can air dry- in the same way you have yours. I really dont care for hot tools or blow outs but right now it looks a bit better when its blown dry. Hope you keep sharing your hair as you enjoy it. Who could guess just having natural hair would get this much attention??!!
Your hair is lovely. I wouldn't call it salt and pepper it's a beautiful silver colour.
What kind of haircut did you ask for? I really like the cut!
I brought in a photo of a ‘wolf cut’ on Pinterest. My hairdresser is amazing 😀
@@ClaireLoy Thanks!!
Hi could I ask what products you use on your hair please and What supplements thank you xx
I don’t use supplements , and my hair products include bumble and bumble shampoos and conditioner, and ORS Olive Oil products. I also use L’ Oreal pro purple shampoo on every other wash.
I dont mind my grey hair and I always had long hair but after it went grey I thought it looked God awful long.
Why did u not put a gray dye in it at the start
Because I would have had to bleach it several times to get the ends light enough to by dyed grey and then have it blended and toned every month.
