- Join me for a beach day on the North Wildwood Beach!
It was a hot day sitting at 78 degrees with ocean temps around 65-68. For this trip we stopped by 22nd street to enjoy the views.
This time in 2 weeks there will be 100 more feet of sand. The North Wildwood Beach Replenishment project is moving along.
Today crews were at 9th street moving south. They are still knocking out about one block a day. A block in this refers to 100 feet by 200 feet of sand.
At this rate, they should be able to hit 26th street. It all depends on time and money.

We would go on vacation and the one time that we were there the ocean was like the upper 50’s but we went in the water anyway. Now we live in Florida. We have taken our Grandchildren up and they love Wildwood . We might have Disney World but nothing compares to the Jersey Shore. Love your posts
We just arrived today! I have been coming to Wildwood every year since I was 3-years old, so, these past 15 years of coming have meant so much to me. It’s always such a blessing to be here with my family. ❤

Wildwood Crest Rules
That Wildwood sun is very deceptive. Gotta put on the sunscreen, at least SPF 50. Through the years I've seen people ruin their vacations because of sun poisoning.
I like to be on the beach by 10 am the latest and leave by 4 pm. Thank you for sharing this video! Makes me excited to get to Wildwood!

Happy Fathers day Joey. A store owner told us the reason Seaport pier had such an awful smell was due the fire resistant wood they used. Was even worst after it rained and high humidity days. Nice that you have best in class equipment to make so many interesting vidios.

Joey, will the Wildwood lights at the Convention Center ever light up or are they dormant? The colored lights come on but "Wildwoods" doesn't light up.
I know they just reinstalled them about 2 weeks-ish ago. Maybe they are still working on them?

We tend to hit thr beach in the morning 9 to 10am and last until about 1 pm
I love Wildwood. To me, the best months to go to Wildwood is June, July, August, October, and January. Those are the months I usually go. One time I went in April, that was pretty cool as well. Wildwood is just nice all year round. I do wish there were more year round breakfast places on the boardwalk. I love eating my eggs while looking at the boardwalk and beach. Such luxury.

I was down this past Tuesday, for what I refer to as a “Day Trip”, as I’m retired!

Joey thank you so much for sharing your beautiful day at the beach.....so wish I was there too. But I have some very interesting info to share with you. Do you remember the Old Mining Ride (half indoor/half outdoor roller-coaster)? Well, apparently the track was sold and re-errected at Knoebel's Amusement Park over in PA. We are going to see it in August. Apparently, the better news for me is that they have to Old Wooden Bobsled Ride and its' orign was Coney Island. This ride is not only dear to me for its' complete originality but it was literally the reason I moved to Lake Placid, NY and became a Woman's Bobsleder. I am hoping to meet with someone from the Park so I can ask them very specific questions about each of these rides. I'm so excited and will be very happy to gather all info for you. Some of the track was cut apart and given as souvenirs. We have a nice piece with a plaque.
you are right. The Golden Nugget is now the Black Diamond. It is a cool coaster. I was there the day they had their farewell to the ride.
