Sarde (noun), [Sa-r-de]: A colloquial term used in the Middle East to describe the act of letting go & kicking off a stream of consciousness and a rambling narrative.
The Sarde After Dinner Podcast is a free space based out of the heart of Beirut, Lebanon, where Médéa Azouri & Mouin Jaber discuss a wide range of topics (usually) held behind closed doors in an open and simple way with guests from all walks of life.

Habibi Mouin, if you are surprised that 30 Iraqis were killed in the last violence event in iraq, then probably you haven't heard of the 1000 activists that Iranian militias killed during Tishreen revolution in 2019! and wounded more than 15000 just because they wanted وطن

I love sarde, a spontaneous talking forum which shows reality from the heart without any compliments
this guy sounds like he took 0 courses in macroeconomics and doesn't know that it's the US who controls who invests with US Dollars in Lebanon and that them and only them control our lira rate through that and through sanctioning whoever is against them and Israel and wants to have relations with lebanon and other anti-US countries. notice how he didn't even mention how the US is controlling lebanese decisions and their and saudi's ambassadors roaming around during the elections, he didn't mention Iran offering free electricity like 7 times since 2007 and offered to build gas rigs twice, offered to build electricity factories, free petrol, the free gas we received a year ago, he didn't mention how we are STILL WAITING on the Egyptian and jordanian gas lines APPROVAL FROM THE US and its been fucking year. let alone the high tech WEAPONS that were offered to the lebanese military hundreds of times by russia Iran china and north Korea that were all declined by the US because the army is not allowed to have high tech weapons and we should stick with WWll tech that the US is providing us and we saw how it ended up not helping in Irsal and ras baalbek where flipflop fighters were able to invade northern Lebanon until HA joined.... yet Iran and HA are controlling lebanon right??? i swear to god if Nadim debates with Salem zahran or any pro HA political analyst he would get wiped and that's why they avoid these debates.
anyone with a brain and a nonbiased mind would be spitting on Nadim's forehead.
these are sources for all the Iranian offers that would have made lebanon a developed country by now (not including the russian and Chinese gas-power factories- offers and other investments because of the US controlling lebanese decisions )

Je suis toujours émerveillé de savoir que dans notre monde arabe nous avons des gens comme Nadim, qui ont une lecture très terre à terre permettant d'expliquer - sans langue de bois- ce qui se passe au Liban à quelqu'un qui est géopolitiquement curieux et qui est à ce jour perplexe concernant le Moyen-Orient. Great show! I always watch your episodes. Not sure if you read these comments. Nadim is mixing Liberalism with Neoliberalism. You're also mixing democracy and liberal democracy. Furthermore, we, as human civilization, are witnessing an era change. This happened only three times in our recorded history. Thus, challenges liberal democracies are facing are very normal.

Nadim, democracy is not perfect but the main problem today is our monetary system which facilitates the absence of equal opportunities you are talking about . There is hope though by opting out and joining the new monetary system being built thanks to crypto which hopefully will separate state and money.
He's not a reporter he's a mercenary.
Nadim loves this country to an extent he isnt aware of. It's very interesting to listen to him. I can hear lots of psychological issues due to the fact of leaving lebanon
