Impressive! Those kills with the resurface move were well done.
Now that you've played Venture a bit, what do you think of them?

They seem a bit weak damage wise like you've really gotta commit your whole kit to get a kill but that could change with the season updates in a week. Tonberry really likes playing as Venture and doing flanking annoyance which seems more overall effective.

Interesting. I imagine their damage is walking quite a tightrope between feeling underpowered and having to fully commit, like at the moment, and being absolutely overpowered with the invulnerability you get from the dig move.
Using them as a flanker is an interesting idea. Sort of the same role as Tracer, but expressed very differently.

My problem with Venture, and you did it immediately because it's intuitive (not your fault just the character design), is that she has a get out of jail free card on shift.
There's zero counterplay when you're a character without mobility, and she dashes in from an angle and digs out. At least with old doomfist back in the day, he was killable on the punch out. Venture is physically invulnerable when she digs.
    I hate abilities like that.

Yeah, I can see how that's a problem.

I mean doesn't Reaper have a similar option, even if it comes back less frequently and he can deal a lot more damage faster? I haven't played in a while, thus the uncertainty, but it seems about on par with that. The counter, if you really need it should be the same: chase them down. Can they still be snared by traps and things? If not, then that's a fair issue and maybe a possible balance/fix.
