Would be great if you talk about the graph in Foam. Great video.

Thanks for the video, I’m looking for a way to create documentation for debugging and this looks as a good fit. I have been reading about obsidian and the zettelkasten method, thanks again
Thanks for reaching out. I have not tried Dendron, but at a quick glance I'm not sure its for me. I will put it on a "Must try" list so that I can find out :)
Can definitely add more fine tuning. If you’re a Vim user, sure, you will get a much more distraction free experience. The Foam plug-in comes with some key bindings I haven’t shared in the video. The idea for this video is a non-dev intro. I personally have a separate code profile just for my personal “Foam” setup. The rabbit hole goes deep 😁 Added to this I also have a git integration to publish my docs as a static site.
@@RheinardKorf Many thanks for the response. I will have to install and play ... _"the rabbit hole goes deep"_ wouldn't want it any other way - what fun 🥰. Always fresh, always something new to learn. After 40+ years the excitement remains. Thanks for the video. Be safe RK.
@@Eduardado I might have to do a video on that. I have it semi-automated. When I commit my changes it triggers a Netlify workflow that builds an 11ty site.
Thanks, you did a good job making it simple for non technical folks to use it.
Thank you! I was really lost testing out Foam until I found this.
You are very welcome. I still think I can make it simpler to start, but I'm glad you found it helpful.
Thanks this was very helpful. It is a lot less daunting to start trying it out now.
thank you RK, I followed this tutorial, even though it's a bit old and this time got some fair results out of Foam.
Glad that helped you!
Thank you so much for the video. This is just what I am searching for to get started on using Foam.
Just getting started with foam and this is very helpful. thank you
Great tutorial! Really helpful, looking forward for the next ones
thank you so much for sharing, this what exactly the type of overview I was looking for!
Super helpful! Thank you for sharing! I will finally get started with Foam :)
In India , we call Mummy! ......Good Video..Thankx for tutorial
Thank you! Really nice video and easy to follow.
Thank you for creating this helpful tutorial...
Fantastic tutorial - thank you!
Interesting. I’ve become quite taken with Dendron lately.

Give dendron a peak too if those other options don’t meet your needs.
@@WokeSoros Awesome, thank for the suggestion, I will check
Whats the best way ti insert screenshots into foam notes?
There's an extension for vs-code called paste image. Works pretty well for me.
Hey rheingold, can you do the same "getting start" video for dendron.so?
Thanks for reaching out. I have not tried Dendron, but at a quick glance I'm not sure its for me. I will put it on a "Must try" list so that I can find out :)
Thanks!
Good stuff!
This is all well and good. The mouse thing is a distraction though. So maybe a Vim plugin and key mappings?

Чел, хорош!😁
It really was helpful. Thanks man I love it. Do you store your notes on the cloud also? What system do you use? :D
Glad you found it helpful. I do store my notes in the cloud. Because its mostly text I actually use Git and GitHub to store all my notes.
@@RheinardKorf Awesome! Do you commit changes or have it also automated ? If so? how you do it? :D

@@RheinardKorf I'm in :D

If you are not a developer, give a try to Obsidian.
