This show aired in the Fall of 1998. I started college in August of that year, so I related to Felicity in so many ways: I was overprotected, a virgin, idealistic, and had an unrequited crush on someone. This show was my life at the time ❤️
Netflix could bring it back... it would so f*cking awesome to have 'Felicity' again.

I watched the series finale on the couch with my mom in May 2002. I was three. To this day, watching that last scene at Noel's wedding brings such incredible waves of nostalgia. I'm a 21 year old man by the way, who likes cigarettes and whiskey and guns. But Felicity and Gilmore Girls are the two shows that still own my heart. Thanks mom.

This show really was like lightning in a bottle. It is amazing how much it still gets referenced today, and the mentions are well-earned. This was a smart show with a great cast and a killer soundtrack.

The first time I saw this show I fell in love with Scott Foley (Noel) that was that I was hooked with the show, Team Noel all the way, plus Scott Foley is so gorgeous, love him.

It’s 2022 and I just watched felicity for the first time. I really, really wish I would have watched it back when it came out. It’s one of those shows that teaches you a lot about what it’s like to be a good human and that even good people make mistakes in life and love.
The writing was phenomenal as well as the acting. And as a bonus it gave me so much nostalgia. It’s a must watch for aspiring college students to see the potential that’s waiting for them.

I'm pursuing master's degree far far away from my home now & I stumble upon Felicity after watched this video. I know the series but I always Team Dawson's Creek all the way :D I just finished the series & I have to say that this is the BEST SHOW about college. I can perfectly relate all of her feelings, being a student again myself. And I agree with other comments, there will be no other show like this again..simple storyline yet strikes you right in the heart.
You don't really have to choose - they're both great shows! We loved how much Felicity felt like our own college experience, though. Nothing like that nostalgia.

I absolutely adore “Felicity” and rewatch the entire series every few years- I have all four seasons on DVD. My mom would tape it for me so that I would never miss an episode and I can remember eagerly staking out a TV/VCR in my dorm lounge and enjoying watching every second. It’s truly my all time favorite TV series. The show came out when I was in college so I felt like I was going through everything with the characters. It was so relatable…except that I was at Middlebury College in Vermont versus studying in NYC. Like Felicity, I was an art major…and was very familiar with the theme of unrequited love. I thought it was so cool that Felicity’s mentor’s name was Sally, so it always felt like Felicity’s character was talking directly to me when she recorded her tapes.🥰

I used to love this show. It was the only series that was written about college students. All the other adolescent shows were for high school kids. I was an adult when Felicity started. I felt like a creep watching high school soaps and reading YA novels.

Not true.. Boy Meets World had pretty real life storylines in the late 90‘s even though it was a dramedy.. Dawsons Creek and Sabrina the Teenage Witch and later Buffy from Season 4 onwards.. There were pretty good college shows during 98/99 until 2002/03
Keri's hair should have also been named as a main character. I remember the commotion when her hair was cut.
They are even better looking now!! I just love watching that show and reminisce about my time in New York in the 90s....it will never come back....

When it came to France, I was caught immediately... But unfortunately, it was axed almost immediately... Years later, as an adult, I had came back at the University, to get a Bachelor degree in English... And suddenly I remembered the show... And after thinking awhile, I happened to think about Amazon... where I could have the DVDs... And the show accompanied me almost all those years... So many years later, I couldn't imagine not having my DVDs... Impossible... Unfortunately I don't have too much occasions to watch it... But just having them reminds me one of the best show ever made... :)

All these shows were so connected to us growing up. Race was not an issue. As another Mexican immigrant growing up in Chicago these shows displayed real issues at an amazing time of our lives. I related to them cuz they were becoming adults just like many of us. Making hw on time. Paying rent and dividing the bills. Etc.

It's a good show because it had so many themes that anyone going through college experiences.
It's amazing how all of us have different college experiences, but somehow this show managed to be relatable almost across the board!

Why did they cancel this show? I loved the fact that the show was simple and sweet and real. It showed that relationships are not perfect, crushes are not perfect and life is full of bad timings and strange decisions. Impulse plays a big role. I watched this show when I was in uni and it really resonated with me. Sometimes ppl do crazy things, move away from home and then realise it was not worth all that fuss and nothing is rosy. I remember seeing so many beautiful couples in uni and feeling completely left out. Uni was a place where most ppl had their dreams come true. Mine turned out to be a nightmare.

The WB revamped their whole schedule.. Felicity cancelled/ended and so was Dawsons Creek and a lot of other WB shows..

We just got started with our own rewatch, and it still holds up!
Noel was the better guy by a long shot. I never understood her character constantly picking a dude (man child) after he lets you down time and time again and can never figure out what he wants. The character of Ben was literally the late 90s f*&% boy.
We've been doing a rewatch, and watching it in that much detail has been a little surprising for us. It's still early on, though.
