I have a 200L love it. Not sure why you would want the 240. 25% less batery capacity same 30 amp less 120 outlets , same inverter. I think they are just tyring to get you to buy the battery

Thank you .... I have been so confused about this 12V 30Amp ... 'we have it AC200MAX ... we kinda have it AC200L .. or we dropped it" output, across the Bluetti Models. So frustrating!!
Your video 'sorted out' what took me days of viewing pages & pages on their website; this along with the 'Fake Power Lifting' claim, that the AC70 introduced me to.
Since one of my uses will be to run a HAM station; low noise & available high DC power are critical; and not served with a 10 Amp Cigarette Lighter socket.
I'd love to see some basic EMI / noise test results. And I am not sure why you didn't do a capacity test on the 30Amp DC Output, to see if it has any glitzs.
I have almost given up, and decided to wait for a Pecron E3600LFP or go DIY with something like the LICITTI system.

They probably done away with the wireless charging pad because it eats electricity even when it's not in use if you've got DC on

Weight was a deterrent from me purchasing the the AC240. If it weighed less or same as the AC200L, done deal. Bought the AC200L same price more watt hours.

I bought my first power supply by watching your videos and I have learned so much about wattage, amps , voltage input and output, solar hookups, drain, different cables, inverters and just about everything about Lifepo4 batteries...you are the best reviewer on RUclips as far as knowledge and explaining in laymans terms so I understand...and demonstrations as to how it works...kudos I love both your channels 👍

I think that Bluetti have finally got this fixed. Forget the AC200 L. Too many things missing and not working. Not sure why they have it. This is the real upgrade to my AC200 Max. An already good product. Now it just got better! But not sure why it's needs to be IP65 water resistant (not waterproof). Never seen anyone with any brand of these power stations that needed to be out in the rain. All campers, RV's, van lifers etc. keep an eye on the weather already. They are not IP65 rated with anything plugged into it. So I can't see anyone leaving this outside. In the rain. On its own. Can you? So the extra cost for this, is just an extra cost I can do without. The other thing you can do (GREAT for van lifers). Is that when there is no sun for the solar panels. You can use an EV car station to charge this puppy up with. And when it's plugged in. Sometimes the charge if free. This is because an EV car will draw about 135kwh and the Bluetti only pulls around 3kwh. So the station doesn't think it's a car plugged in but will still charge the Bluetti! Great review. Thanks!

Bluetti still needs a 90-degree output cable for that 12V 30-amp plug. Have the same output on the AC300 & the cables are frustrating.

It’s just not powerful enough. Without the expansion battery it wouldn’t last long.

What am I missing? I'm in the market for this size battery and was waiting for this, however, it just seems they missed the mark, at least for what I'm looking for. I like the IP65, but that doesn't offset some of the apparent negatives for me when compared to something like the Pecron E1500. Less AC and USB outlets, no wireless, and that weight, ugh. Why so heavy? I have a camper, but I have an adapter to bring 30A plug to 20A, so don't really need the "30A" RV plug. Like that they added the 30A DC out, but seems the Pecron also has that.

Instead of cutting off the Anderson connector, why not add the other side of the Anderson connector to the fuse block so you can just plug it in ?

I just want to know if it will power my little camper. 16 foot Sunlite. A microwave for warming stuff, lights, the AC very occasionally and probably short term. Fridge runs off propane or electric.
Any thoughts without going over my head.

great waterproof but only 2 120 outlets? I prefer having 4 to 6 120 volt outlests for such a powerfull battery??? unless it is really made for fithwheels and trailors??

Interesting unit. However, I had crap luck with an EB3A. I don't know if I would trust Bluetti again; especially at that price. I like the offerings from Pecron and Anker for something in this capacity.

I was not a fan of the EB3A either, but I do like there larger power stations. I just wish this had the 145-150 volt mppt that there other larger power stations have.

The sale price of $1399 is a heck of a deal. The IP65 rating is a plus also. None of my EF products can do that. The one thing I see the AC240 needs would be wheels. 72lbs! 😳

Some portable power stations are really small and light and convenient, but won't run larger loads. Some "portable" power stations are absolutely enormous so they'll run just about anything, but it takes 2 adults to move it around. Very few power stations are truly portable, modular and capable of powering most loads. I don't generally care for commercially-made power stations, but this is one I would actually consider buying, if I needed another one. :)

Here is a free piece of advice for your Bluetti (DONT THROW THE BOX OUT!) your going to need it! Shipping weight about 65lbs UPS shipping over $100 your cost - EVEN UNDER WARRANTY! Since nobody can fix it but them (Proprietary parts). Wait till the battery starts failing like a laptop, you know the meter says 95% - 5 hours left, and in 10 minutes it says 6% left charge battery or shut down. Me, Ill just put more gas in but not in near 10 minutes. How much will they charge you to replace that battery that didnt last as long as they said but its just outside the warranty period? You might as well buy a new unit, (If you havent learned your lesson) Ill just put a little fuel stabilizer in the gas, change the oil once a year maybe the air filter, possibly a spark plug every 10 years. It will probably run forever, if not - anybody local can fix it. Good luck with it

@@GearGadgetReviews Hi Brian, I believe that I will want to run the lights , heater fan (when needed ) and charging the phone and my lap top, I design houses for a living. The fridge I will probably keep on propane while on site. I have an EB55 for other little stuff. The use will be mostly for long weekends and making use of solar during the days.

Nice unit....I need 3600 to run an evaporative cooler when the unit kicks on.
Math isn't really my strong suit 😊 I bought 4 100ah batteries for a stand alone system, 600watts of solar panels and a 3000/6000 inverter.
Im just shy of my goal so I have to redo the math and probably make some changes.
As these units get better and the price point comes down its looking more like the portable power station is the ticket.
NEW SUBSCRIBER 😮 looking forward to seeing what other videos you have.

Instead of cutting ur new power cable I would recommend getting and Anderson or xt-60 pigtail to install onto a circuit block.

Bluetti describes it as “water resistant”, not “water proof”. I have over 4k invested in BEs and because I provide coms for disaster communication team I built a fully water proof system inside a gator case. It is water proof 2nd to having no screws, bolts, etc., penetration of the case whatsoever. Of course it has to be open to access the controls/plugs so the concept of waterproof is only for the transportation to site via helicopter, etc. To make the BE AC 240 waterproof you’d have to put it in rather large (expensive) Gater case. Bluetti makes very good systems and the AC 240 as significantly improved the water resistance via changes, but it’s not waterproof as you have stated.

Thanks. I did state it has an IP65 rating, which anyone can verify it is not truly waterproof. Also it was noted that this unit is obviously not capable of being submerged. During the soak test it was also noted this unit can withstand steady jets of water from any angle which gives it the IP65 rating.

Great video. Very well explained. I have watch a few videos on this AC240 now. I have yet to see anyone do the water test with anything plugged into the all the ports or at least one port. Of you get caught in a rain storm and have your devices hooked up to this, will it still perform and keep all your devices powered up? I'm curious and see no point of marketing this if it can't perform during a rainstorm. I have the AC 180 and AC200L and love them both. Thanks for a great video and will keep watching.
