Forgot to mention he has a large head 22 1/2 inches circumference and about 10 from the ears up, but I still use the same amount of change to start

Hi guys, please i need help. I started of with 13inches but as i proceeded it began to reduce, what could be the reason?

How do I keep it from shrinking each row? When I made it all my rows were shorter and shorter

This happened to me the first time I attempted this project! Watch very carefully at 7:40 time stamp, you chain 1 and then watch where she places the first single crochet in the back loop. You want to make sure you don’t skip the first sc after chaining one. I noticed it happened to me and I was what the heck why are my rows getting shorter and shorter! And that was the reason! Hope this helps :)
