I love the documentary style. However I would have added peoples names as banners. Usually documentaries have banners with names and their job or their relation to the subjects. This was amazing though. I really loved this!
That really felt like a real documentary-I nearly thought that the magical world we've all learned to love (and also sometimes hate) was real. Great job, truly!
This is really strange. I actually have tears in my eyes right now. I mean we all know that this is a fictional story but it always seemed so real. Somehow I feel like one of these "eye-whitnesses" of the battle of hogwars. I mean - aren't we all? We witnessed the whole thing. We were there!
this is amazing. It feels so real and exactly like a documentary. We forget that it wasn't just the Golden trio's war but the whole wizarding world was changed forever that night. what a brilliant idea to interview the lesser known characters.
Wow, this is absolutely amazing! It feels so real and it almost made me cry! It's almost as good as having another Harry Potter movie to watch. Great idea + great settings + great camera work + great writing + great actors + great atmosphere + probably more work and devotion than I can even imagine = AWESOME video!!!
As soon as I heard weasley brothers and explosion I paused it and said “The weasley brothers were Percy and fred and that explosion killed Fred.” Then I was sad when I was right…
Wonderful job you guys! Really really good! Nice photography, super script! Hannah is one of my favorite characters. So happy she was in it! Can't wait to see the next.
Bravo. This was absolutely fantastic. You all have done such a great job working on this. I am really looking forward to future chapters. (also, the tears that I had in my eyes....well let's just say they ran down my cheeks.)
First off I want to say that this is incredibly well made, and I love this. I just have one question. Why does it seem as though there's doubt and uncertainty about the causes of the war? Only twenty years later you'd think that those kinds of things would be fresh in everyone's minds. But it almost feels like there's a general detachment from the events themselves.
Just watching for the first time. I am already forming a list of people I will suggest this to. The young actress was so convincing when she pulled the galleon from her purse, I actually cried.
I'm in awe! I love the concept! I started being your fan 'coz of Fifty Shades...but this is a different concept. I love the perspective you're showing! More please! More! Subscribed-DONE! More power to you! God bless! :)
I LOVE THIS. I especially love the interview with Hannah - I am a huge Hannah/Neville shipper (none of this Luna business :P) so it's awesome to see her. Perfect casting!
we are doing the opposite of this, we are doing the actual battle in the hogwarts following wizards in different areas and grounds of the castle, search on fb battle of hogwarts

This is by far one of the best fan films I've ever seen
Severus Snape and the marauders is the best fan film ever
ZeoMovies agreed 100%
Well, who's to say Luna and Neville didn't have a little thing before they parted.
if they had a kiss
I
WOULD
DIE
TO
SEE
THAT
This is amazing! This feels like a real documentary, I keep having to remind myself that the Battle of Hogwarts didn't actually happen.
Same!!
not the same here. I started, watched some and thought 'how cheezy' but by the end I was in tears.
God's i miss them...
Omg! This was amazing!!!! Potterheads are amazing!

Should have had those side headers on the name of the interviewed and their occupation like how all documentaries are, overall great fanfilm
Yeah i have no idea who most of the people interviewed are.
Wow, this is fabulous. A must watch for any Potterhead.
Harry Potter is the best movie franchise ever period.
A very effective usage of a limited budget.
this is amazing. It feels so real and exactly like a documentary. We forget that it wasn't just the Golden trio's war but the whole wizarding world was changed forever that night. what a brilliant idea to interview the lesser known characters.
Hannah's interview gave me chills.

O. M. G. This looks so much like a documentary about The Troubles. This is a 15 out of 10 for me.

Beautifully done. I'm just curious on when you could have gone to the wizarding world of Harry potter for there to be so few people around.
23 years today! Happy May 2!

Dude! This was fantastic! You are a godsend to independent filmmaking! Bravo, I can't wait to see more!
The movie doesn't make me cry, but this... yes, a few tears escaped.
Stunning work, just as anyone could expect! This is going to be one heck of a good week
Just watching for the first time. I am already forming a list of people I will suggest this to.
The young actress was so convincing when she pulled the galleon from her purse, I actually cried.
Nicei job! Wonderful scenery and script! Looking forward to the other chapters!!!
Brilliant. So nostalgic...so sad...
I love this! I'm American and I understand the narrator perfectly, so everyone stop complaining.
Did you film part of this in Orlando?
Yes.

This is an awesome idea and brilliantly executed so far. I love it!
It just makes everything so real! Oh my heart!!!!!!
Nothing about this is off-key, beautiful cinematography and editing!

Tears everywhere.. This gave me chills... Good job! ♥
I feel like I'm watching a History Channel documentary.
I'm not even 2 minutes in and I've already got tears in my eyes.

I bet your glad the Wizarding World was built, eh? you totally have it to your advantage, and have a set. xD great job though. this is beyond amazing
Touché
This is really good :) Very interesting concept... the nostalgia...
time for my annual rewatch!
Nice cameo Nick :) can't wait for chapter 2!
They made the voice sound boring like history films that we have to watch in school, that is what make it seems so real
Jian Karen Thanks? o_O
I'm in awe! I love the concept! I started being your fan 'coz of Fifty Shades...but this is a different concept. I love the perspective you're showing! More please! More! Subscribed-DONE!
More power to you! God bless! :)
Awesome! Can you make subtitles for it? I want to show it to my friends, but they don't speak English :(
@36MonkeysThatFly so was it a problem with production sound or an artistic decision to plant an accent where previously there was none?
The narrator reminds me of Kingsley Shacklebolt! :D
Is it odd that I'm shaking? That was...brilliant. Just...brilliant.
excellent job. master piece!
Soooo good. Chilling.
I love this!!!
This is moving😢😢😢
@36MonkeysThatFly Bit of Both.... Production sound was unusable in Florida, and some of the actors could not do accents
I LOVE THIS. I especially love the interview with Hannah - I am a huge Hannah/Neville shipper (none of this Luna business :P) so it's awesome to see her. Perfect casting!
They married each other hannah and neville
Loganana I know they did ;)
YYAY
this is really cool :)
nice job guys
This is amazing!
Awesome job, guys. Fantastic!!
A lot of war veterans don't like to talk about their experiences. My grandfather has hardly ever talked about his experience in WWII to his children.
OMG! I'm watching this on September 1st, the 19 years later date at the end of Deathly Hallows Part 2!
I made a mistake, luna is married with Rolf Scamander!
@unrenderedmedia The first time I saw this, I thought it was a television show. This is amazing. Did you see the movie?
so awesome! it's weird to hear war stories from young people.
That was just absolutely awesome!!
It is widzaring world of harry potter at island of adventure?
i want to go there!!!!!!!!!!! NOW
THAT WAS FREAKING AMAZING!!! POTTERHEADS ARE THE BEST!! 😱😱😱😱😱

Alexander Mills technically May 2nd 2018 Will be officially 20 years after the battle of Hogwarts
I love this documentary! But who's the old woman who talks about the Potters?
this is amazing.
Who were the people interviewed in this?
I know one of them was Hannah Abbott
Magnificent.
Wow this gave me chills.
They were only kids or not even born yet when it happened... 20 year ago... most of the students are only 12-17
