Justice for All is my fav album. It seems like a lot of the younger fans like their newer stuff (from black onwards) and a lot of people only listen to master of puppets but justice for all is the tops for me. Kill em all and ride the lightning are a close second.
vaadaenmacchi Considering that Lars himself said that after this album, they had to re-invent themselves, because they were on the top of their skills.
They felt that they had to change when the 90s hit. Many 80s Thrash bands kept moving forward. Also James injured his voice which permanently changed it in the early 90s. I think in another universe where Cliff didn’t die, and Mustaine wasn’t fired or had drinking problems they would still be a Thrash band today.
I think it’s hard for whatever as a teen to get into justice…when I was a teen I thought the only good song was One As I got older I came to appreciate as an absolute tour de force of riff heaven and some damn good drumming
hell im only 14 and i like kill em all, ride the lighting, master of puppets and even load and reload, i may have a nirvana pfp (i need to change it) but i like the older albums than the new ones tbh and yes and justice for all is also one of my favourites
Amen my good brother My name is Yirameyahu Anu-Adonai Heraku-elyon Rapha-Elyanardo My father is Apolloyon Adonai raphah elyonardo We are the angels over the abyss 😊
It checks every box. I too believe it’s my favorite and their magnus opus. Beginning riff killer, vocals as good as they ever were, middle section perfection, guitar solo amazing, ending riffs perfection. Everyone did their part here.

I know people are complaining about the reverb, but I actually like it a lot. It makes the production sound closer to Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets. This whole remix album is a classic. It's not really "justice for Jason" lol, but I think it's a great version of an amazing album that deserved this kind of sound.
Much better with the bass in it, thank you, makes me wish Metallica would do a best of and remaster their own stuff WITH bass, perhaps release it on Cliffs birthday or something..
If you dig deep enough the material is out there…of course it’s not mixed with their blessing but it’s usually pretty great. For me personally when I want to hear some bass with my Metallica I head to the live stuff.
I was just listening to a different post of this, I have it running through my PA and it still seems this. love this album but I think my memeories are sweeter than reality
Def. the best remaster of ...And Justice For All that gives full props to Jason. This song and the title track really shine through. Just the perfect balance. (And it’s a good thing that hetfield’s vocals are just a little bit lower!)
It sounds great! (not a big fan of reverb effect, thought). Have you heard Jason's master bass tracks for Justice album? Maybe you could do a new version, replicating his bass sound (which has a lot of rattle/buzzing kind of sound due to low action).
it is like listening it in the bathroom. where did ya get your engineering "skills" mate. a waste of time by yourself. hope you to get a dryer version soon. your bassist skills are a lot better than the engineering ones, so they deserve to be listened the way it shoule be. cheers!
I don’t care what other people say, this sounds way better than the original, it just wasn’t heavy without the bass
Did You Forget What Guitar Tone Was Or? Because The Reverb Completely Destroys The Thickness In The Sound.
I think it’s still kind of heavy, but I’ll end my disagreement there and say that this has a lot more impact for sure.
@@mistersunshine1330 Did you forget that not every word in a sentence has to start with a capital letter?
Plus that little added reverb
@@ShredmasterFlash imagine if the bass had some wah on the intro
The entire middle instrumental part of this song is absolutely amazing and sounds even better with the bass track as audible as it is here.
La guitarra de James y bajo en el solo de Kirk son lo mejor de esta canción para mi
Middle part is a masterpiece 🕺

Black Album \m/

Added reverb and bumped up bass make this song so much better. Awesome sound.
sounds like they are playing in a cave and it sounds pretty dark
True hahahahahahahaa
Actually fits the tone of the song in my opinion
that is very true bro
I like it tho
@chad942 where tf my goblin vox at
I have schizofrenia, this track cures my poor soul
Amen my good brother

It's okay my friends schizo-ed me out too
This is by far my favorite song on the album, if not my favorite Metallica song period.
It checks every box. I too believe it’s my favorite and their magnus opus. Beginning riff killer, vocals as good as they ever were, middle section perfection, guitar solo amazing, ending riffs perfection. Everyone did their part here.
Lyrics
Never hunger
Never prosper
I have fallen prey to failure
Struggle within
Triggered again
Now the candle burns at both ends
Twisting under schizophrenia
Falling deep into dementia
Old habits reappear
Fighting the fear of fear
Growing conspiracy
Everyone's after me frayed ends of sanity
Hear them calling
Hear them calling me
Birth of terror
Death of much more
I'm the slave of fear, my captor
Never warnings
Spreading its wings
As I wait for the horror she brings
Loss of interest, question, wonder
Waves of fear they pull me under
Old habits reappear
Fighting the fear of fear
Growing conspiracy
Everyone's after me frayed ends of sanity
Hear them calling
Hear them calling me
Into ruin
I am sinking
Hostage of this nameless feeling
Hell is set free
Flooded I'll be
Feel the undertow inside me
Height, hell, time, haste, terror, tension
Life, death, want, waste, mass depression
Old habits reappear
Fighting the fear of fear
Growing conspiracy
Myself is after me
Frayed ends of sanity
Hear them calling
Frayed ends of sanity
Hear them calling
Hear them calling me

O-REEEE-O!
OWEEE OHHH OREEEEEOOO
Lol
All we are, we owe.
THIS SOUNDS AMAZING
@Jay Simmons They should do a 30th anniversary re-release. Remaster it, bring Jason back and re-record the bass tracks!
Nothing was wrong with his tracks. Just engineering
Much better with the bass in it, thank you, makes me wish Metallica would do a best of and remaster their own stuff WITH bass, perhaps release it on Cliffs birthday or something..

Most underrated and favorite song off And Justice For All...
nothing is more metal than wizard of oz
Def. the best remaster of ...And Justice For All that gives full props to Jason. This song and the title track really shine through.
Just the perfect balance. (And it’s a good thing that hetfield’s vocals are just a little bit lower!)
For my The best song of ...And Justice For All
I've been listening to the original lp for years and both versions sound good
Wow, this sounds much better than the original! Good work.
😍😍 ITS ABOUT TIME I GET A NICE SURROUND SOUND SET OF SPEAKERS AND STAND IN THE MIDDLE OF IT THRASHIN' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😛😇😇😇
my god does this sound great. mind blowing quality
I used to listen to this album religiously. I never new the original mix had no bass, until some dude in gas station pointed it out 20 years later...
with added bass this is my favourite metallica song
Thanks for the compliments!
Apparently Rob played this live for the first time only in 2015.
It was the first time they ever played it in full live in general.
this song is fucking awesome!!!!
I'm the 999th person to like this, thank you.
It sounds great! (not a big fan of reverb effect, thought). Have you heard Jason's master bass tracks for Justice album? Maybe you could do a new version, replicating his bass sound (which has a lot of rattle/buzzing kind of sound due to low action).
Agreed. The hall reverb creates a muddier sound.
It's very weird to realize this tune is 34 and is gonna be 35 years old this year...
Just classic 2023 🤟🏻
2024
Masterpiece...
6:17 joey inside me
joey what are you doin
having a good time, I guess :D
"Joey, have you seen my sandwich?"
Joey: "I am your sandwich."
🔥💪🏼💯🤘🏻 MISS THIS TIME
The bass makes it sound like the previous albums in thickness, it sounds more live I guess.
long live metallica
4:25 shoudlve been longer. It's a shame..
4:03) That riff is coming
Smash depression? But I need that to be unhappy...
Mass depression*
Jason has more twang to his bass tone. This makes the subs in my car go nuts tho
*IT'S ALIVE!!!*
amazing:D
I highly agree, much better with bass added
Idk why that middle riff gives me predator vybes, like if he had an entrance theme it’d be that.
A little bit too much reverb but I still love it
It sounds alot better than what they did in The Wizard of Oz .. 🔥
when i first bought it, i thought it was my stereo not sounding the bass loud enough.
Damn this song was heavy enough to begin with
The reverb is cool at the beginning, but too much in the rest of the song. But good cover
indeed
This is fucking amazing
Nice.
Now i know why Lars and James muted Jason’s bass 🤭
Love the wizard of oz rip
Temazo
Todavía me acuerdo cuando descubrí este tema en una p0rnito xd
tiene algo de reverb
CLOSE THE FUCKING BASEMENT DOOR!!
SONICO!!!!
the reverb fucked it up yo, it already had enough of that tin sound on the guitar now its just fucked up. Appreciate it the post tho.
+Erik Giovani I think it sounds nice. They only used the close mics during production so the guitars sound super robotic
@@punman5392 but much more tight sounding. It now sounds as it is recorded in a big hall.
This sucks, why is their a reverb lmao?
This sounds like and entirely different band! lol Im going to have difficulty going back to the original now🤷♂
it is like listening it in the bathroom. where did ya get your engineering "skills" mate.
a waste of time by yourself. hope you to get a dryer version soon. your bassist skills are a lot better than the engineering ones, so they deserve to be listened the way it shoule be.
cheers!
Wow lets see what you can prove to the rest of us, MATE!
Loss of interest question wonder
The problem with the album is not the bass , its the hole mix
uhly reverb too much a
nice try, but the result is not that good.....ok the bass is significantly more audible, but the remaster as a whole is bad......sorry.....
to much reverb
Doesnt sound that great honestly but guess it was for the 2010s bass sub woofer people
just add bass, fuck reverb!!
Vocals are too drowned out
bass is higer than the other instruments, its terrible....
